I guess you aren’t fully appraised of the facts. How could she be denied communion because of her gender????? That makes absolutely nonsense. Washington Post coverage made it entirely clear that her sexual orientation was the reason she was denied communion.

  2. Why would any gay or lesbian person want to participate in communion anyway?? I’d sooner burn the church down. Talk about internalised homophobia…

    1. When this story first did the rounds she only wants to do communion because it was her mother’s funeral and it was what her mother would have wanted her to do. I don’t think the woman in question was still a practicing Catholic at the time but was doing it for her dead Mum.

      1. Who the hell are you to tell another gay women or man if they should take communion or not. Better being confused tha being a little Hitler.

I agree with Wingby and Garry. This is no different than priests who molest young children, and are simply moved to another parish where their habits are not known.
Until the RC church climbs out of the age of inquisition, it will remain this way.
    Phooey on them.

where did he go .. to another church or a job in some office somewhere ..
the catholic church condemns us .. and I could see the need to receive communion if that was her mother’s wish.. the priest will not be punished will not be let go . . will just keep on being the homophobic bigot he is
May her mother rest in peace

So following true catholic tradition he’s been secretly moved to practise his bigotry on some other poor people somewhere else. But what can you expect with a member of the hitler youth as there leader !! Wake up world !!
