He was never a contender and spent 2 and half years having a bit of a jolly at the expense of people dumb enough to send him money.

Politics is a career choice, and you don’t even need to be elected. That he is gay is utterly irrelevant to the fact that he was always a total irrelevant no-hoper.

Well said. Accurate and unfortunately true for those who supported him.

  2. His campaign video was on par with Paris Hilton’s parody video, so not too sure if he was being serious or genuine.

“Karger told The Advocate that he has no intention to back Republican front-runner Mitt Romney, saying: “It is hard to endorse a candidate for president who signed the hateful ‘Marriage Pledge’ sponsored by known hate group the National Organization for Marriage.””

So where was this blinding moment of clarity when all the other homophobe Republicans were touting for endorsement? Has he been living under a rock on Mars for the last 40 years?
“You’ll never guess what, I just discovered the majority of republican candidates and voters are actually reactionary homophobes”!
    Well d’uh!

  4. Aww… I’ve always a soft spot for no hoper candidates. (Yes, before the jokes start, I am a Lib Dem!). He was amusing, and knew what he was doing… raising a little awareness of the anti-equality campaigns of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Plus his hot frisbee advert lived up to its name.
