A sad decline from the days when it was “The End” run by Laylo and Mr C (front man of the Shamen and later a DJ alongside Oakenfold at the legendary Megatripolis@Heaven).
i think it originated at The Bell at kings X called pop tarts…they played bowie and the cure..long long time ago….it was very quiet…then suddenly it chaned to popstarz and moved to Paradise in the Angel and the place was packed….never understood why it took off so suddenly. dont mind me…im being sentimantal
Some fond memories of visiting this club as a student, the drink prices aside. Catered very well to most tastes although I haven’t been there in recent years.
