    What a complete disgrace.

Such a shame these countries always seem to want help fight the bad guys yet constantly treat their own so badly.

Prehaps we should bargain in future that people deserve to be treated better before we protect their governments.

  2. Clearly an uncivilised, tin-pot country, It once again indicates what a primitive, evil religion Islam is.

And yet countries like this want to hold world sports events lile the Footall World Cup. I think it is time we refused to allow this. we need to stand stong and say we will not alow LGBT people to be misused.

  4. Outrageous and inhumane.

No worse than detaining someone because of their race, age or poltiics.

Pleased to see in Gaza tomorrow there is the first ever Gazan Pride.

  5. I’ve been looking into the history of witchcraft persecution recently and the parrallels are shocking!

But don’t worry! Homosexuals will all be born with penis shaped birth marks that don’t bleed when stabbed soon… so they’ll be easy identify to burn at the stake!

    Our crops will be safe!!!

  6. Our oil addiction is making us support states reminiscent of 16th and 17th century England. The trick is defining bigotry and irrationality as ‘morality’ and then enshrining them as ‘law’ because an invisible spirit who inspires infallible books tells you that you can. We need much more intolerant, fundamentalist Enlightenment Liberalism in the world, if that’s not too contradictory.

The repressive and fascist “religion of peace” strikes again. And some of our soldiers died helping these people!

All this after what we did for them in 1991. The UK was just one of 28 countries that helped liberate Kuwait from Saddam Hussein. Even Argentina sent two ships there to help us. Don’t cry for me, Kuwait, I will be down the pub next time your neighbours come pouring across the desert.

  11. How sad. What have the gay folks done to be punished in such inhumane and violent manner? Sometimes it is depressing to read LGBT-related news when everything look so depressing. And while people are cheering for Euro 2012 football matches in Ukraine, the gay folks there are suffering as recent anti-gay laws were proposed. Not sure what people are celebrating these days.

  13. The anti-gay Christians and Muslims are the ones who are involved in this campaign to attack LGBT people in Kuwait the same as the anti-gay Christians and Muslims are involved with all campaigns to attack and harass all LGBT people around the world. They are the evil terrorist who make life a living hell, not only for gay people but the people who the gay people are connected to, good family and friends who support LGBT people.

I guess it could only be a matter of time before the citizens of Kuwait begin to stand up for themselves like in so many other Arab countries.

  15. Ah yes, morals – the same morals that allow the state to brutalise and murder those who disagree with its policies, and to imprison people on trumped-up charges with impunity. Such morals are so admirable, aren’t they?
