A local sheriff has said he is unaware of the death threats reportedly received by a pastor who oversaw a child singing a song with the words ‘Ain’t no homo going to make it to heaven’.

Gregory Allen, the Decatur County Sheriff told Fox News: “To my knowledge, there are no death threats at this time.”

The video surfaced this week and shows a child believed to be three or four years old singing at the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Greensburg, Indiana.

The lyrics of the song featured in the video are: “I know the Bible’s right, somebody’s wrong — Romans 1 and 27, ain’t no homo going to make it to heaven.”

The congregation cheers the boys performance, which is then repeated in the film posted online this week.

Romans 1:27 reads: “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

The pastor who oversaw the song was reported by church members to have received death threats.

He left town this week but the sheriff said he had called the police to ask them to make sure the church property was safe but did not mention receiving threats.
