  1. As much of a horrid little misogynistic little creep as Berlesconi is, its a bit much to wish even someone as discussing as him dead. I don’t agree with this, I don’t like the man but I wouldn’t wish him dead

    1. Oh, I don’t know. I think the artwork makes a devastating statement of a man who has done Italy so much damage in recent years. Good riddance to him, I say!

    2. They are not wishing him dead, they are imagining the most likely way that he will die. They could have included a girl on top of him.

      1. A very young girl…

    3. As a matter of principle, I agree – no one should wish anyone dead – even someone as abhorrent as Silvio Berlusconi.

  2. In all fairness, they are the first legally-reognized same-sex marriage of modern times. Unrecognized marriage has existed as long as gay people have been social and self-respecting. And I am somehow skeptical that there was never such a thing as a same-sex marriage in the ancient world or in indigenous cultures.

  3. As an Italian, I have to honestly say that I would only be HAPPY if he died (yeah, I said it, I’m such a bad person, bla bla bla). You have no idea how this man contributed to make us feel like a third-world country in terms of women/lgbt rights, freedom of SPEECH in a supposedly democratic nation and separation between church and state which is virtually non-existent. You don’t need to kill 6million of jews to screw an entire country.

Comparison of berlusconi win Hitler is grotesque and an insult to the millions of Jews that the latter tortured and murdered and the millions of Europeans who lost their lives in the war.

    2. Italians have voted for this man repeatedly so let’s take some collective responsibility. It’s not like he single-handedly took power after a coup. The sad truth is the dream of many Italians is not to see him dead but to be a bit like him.

Just a point of interest – I think the jury is still out on who the first gay couples to be legally married — in modern times — since two gay couples were married by banns in Ontario, Canada in January 2001. At the time, the province would not register the marriages but a court decision in 2003 ordered the province to register the marriages immediately and to retroactively date the registration to January 14, 2001. So these couples have also a claim to the first married in modern times.

  5. Better then Hirst’s pickled shard in any case. Displayed or not. Pope next?

    1. Do with the pope what the italians did with their cqatholic dictator mussolini

But dont hang him by a leg. Hang him symbolically by what he allowed to happen to kiddies by his pedoriests

  6. They couldn’t have been the first gay couple to be married in the world in 2002. That happened in Amsterdam in April 2001. And even we were married earlier sooner than these Italians, since we married in the Netherlands in September 2001 coming from the US.

  7. What is with Italian leaders, political and religious that like young children and rape the molest them like this man and the Catholic priest. They must think they are above the laws of man and god.

Ironic really and quite appropriate as the life expectancy for homodeviants is so much lower than that of hetero normals, in fact significantly so. There is no escape from the fruitage of immoral lifestyles. Homodeviant meales are 44 times more likely to have the AIDS plague.
Homodeviant women are far more prone to oral cancer, hepatitis and HPV.
The bible states that abstinence before mutually monogamous marriage offers 100% protection. Thishowever means self control followed by commitment. Two items not on the pleasure seeking deviants list!
