Gays have been around as long as God has been making men to be born on earth and if anything earth will be over populated in less than one hundred years. These merchants of fear want to scare and frighten the weak minded and uneducated people and to stir them up and turn them against the LGBT people. Much like the Catholic church got the masses to form mobs to burn women who they said were witches less than three hundred years ago.

So lets say gay marriage became legal across the entire globe at midnight tonight – what would the impact be on the population?

Would it lead to a need to close all maternity units, make all midwives and obstetricians redundant?

Would Baby GAP and Mothercare have only a short period left of the business plan?

Would Nestle and SMA be looking for new markets instead of baby formula?

No – heterosexuals would still have sex and children would still be born.

You know what – some of those babies would be gay too.

If we read Matthew 19 we see Jesus teaches that most people are created for heterosexual marriage. (We too accept this as God’s predominant creation paradigm.) But, unlike some modern Christians, Jesus does not see this as the only honorable way to live. He acknowledges that some human beings have been created by God to follow a less common, but equally legitimate path. There are some who have been “eunachs” since birth, made that way by God. The word used for eunach in Matt19 is not about testicles but about homosexual desire.

Jesus identifies three classes of men who should not marry women. Taking his categories in reverse order, first, there are those who have made themselves “eunuchs” for the kingdom of heaven, i.e., those who foreswear marriage to better serve God. Second, he mentions those who have been “made eunuchs by others,” an apparent reference to castrated males. But Jesus mentions a third category — eunuchs who were born that way. Some might argue that Jesus was

In the ancient world, including ancient Jewish culture (as reflected in the Talmud), “natural” or “born” eunuchs were not associated with missing testicles. Rather, they were associated with homosexual desire. They were also born that way.

Civil Marriage pre dates Jesus in some parts of the world.

Certainly that form of marriage and the form currently conducted in registry offices in England (hopefully to be extended to LGBT people shortly) have very little in common with most forms of marriage revealed in the Bible – other than they evidence commitment of people one to another (or others in some instances).
Marriage has been refined either in terms of religion, civil law or both on numerous occasions in history. I see no reason whatsoever that carefully considered revisions that are reasonable and appropriate should not be introduced either in the UK or elsewhere. In terms of same sex couples – that is both reasonable and one would expect any legislation to introduce it would be carefully considered.
In terms of the Zimbabwe situation – failure to be humane to people on the ground of orientation is detestable, evil and depraved. It is a failure of the responsibilities of government and a failure of a man who claims

Neighbour does not reference race, orientation, gender etc – it is all people. Mugabe is a nasty, evil, racist and homophobic bigot who has stolen the riches of his nations and deprived more than one generation of opportunity. He has raped his country and his claims regarding homosexuality are the despicable and crazed soundbites of a demented crackpot dictator who the international community should deal with swiftly and with surgical precision.

It’s sometimes fun to spot how many fallacious arguments you can get into one Mugabe soundbite.
I got as far as the following:
Fallacy of composition – assuming that something true of part of a whole must also be true of the whole
(in this case that if part of the population is gay, the whole population turns gay.)
    Shifting the Burden of proof.
‘No true scotsman’ fallacy -homosexuality does not belong in Zimbabwe.
Slippery slope – asserting that a relatively small first step inevitably leads to a chain of related events culminating in some significant impact.
Hasty generalization – basing a broad conclusion on a small sample.
Argument from scripture – claiming that because there is some truth in a piece of text (such as a factual city or factual historical figure), that everything mentioned in the text must, by default, be “historical fact”.
    Then I lost count…

  15. What will lead to human extinction in Zimbabwe if things do not change soon – is Mugabes horrendous and criminal leadership.

This fantastic article explains the chaos that Zimbabwe is facing eloquently:

    http://londonprogressivejournal.com/article/view/327

“Zimbabwe, piloted by Robert Mugabe, has travelled back in time. Once one of the most prosperous countries in Africa and a magnet for economic migrants from all over the continent, it now faces a cholera epidemic, the staggering devaluation of its currency, political oppression and violence. … Mugabe has been politically ruthless for decades. He has systematically eliminated his opponents and masterminded campaigns of intimidation, leaving him king of the castle and the only ruler since independence. The oppression of his people began many years ago, and the disastrous land reform over the last decade has taken food from everyones mouths”

I think if he had tertiary syphilis the nasty festering sores that burrow all the way down to the bone would be a bit of a giveaway. I’ve seen that up close in a Victorian medical museum.
I would imagine dementia or senility would account for the rest.

        Post a reply →
        1. Festering sores are not always apparent in tertiary syphilis. In any event tertiary syphilis can develop many years after the initial syphilis infection. Some manifestations of the disease can occur up to 50 years later.

Syphilitic gummas are found in most but not all cases of tertiary syphilis, and can occur either singly or in groups. Gummatous lesions are usually associated with long-term syphilitic infection; however, such lesions can also be a symptom of benign late syphilis.
Advanced medical practice (which Mugabe will be able to pay for – unfortunately ordinary Zimbabweans generally can not) can be effectively treated.

So if Mugabe has tertiary syphilis it could have been detected and treated prior to formation of gumma and may be a relatively recent discovery.

The rumours of course, may be mere rumours – he may have no illness causing dementia or an illness of different cause.

          Post a reply →
        2. There are medications that can keep some of the symptoms at bay, and its not like we don’t give Zimbabwe enough aid that Mugabe couldn’t afford to have his treatments paid for

There’s no point in engaging with Mugabe now. He’s completely deranged. Hilary Clinton implied as much in her autobiography.

The only solution now to save Zimbabwe’s gay countrymen would be to forcefully remove him from power – by whatever means necessary.

From what I understand, the UK Secret Service tried in the mid-nineties, but blew up the wrong car by mistake! Now, I’m no advocate of violence, but Mugabe’s stranglehold on Zimbabwe must end.

Apartheid was morally wrong and unjust but all these horrible pictures of starving children which galvanised Band Aid and Live Aid into action were not taken in South Africa where black people enjoyed the highest standard of living on the continent and people queued to get into South Africa in order to work and send money home to their families in poorer countries.

Are the US Navy Seals looking for something to do one year after Osama Bin Laden?

So those sexy US Navy Seals need to kill this horrible man and that should be the only time murder should be legal!

    He is my challenge:

The first successful individual US Navy Seal who kills Robert Mugabe gets to have a date, sex and sleep with me (on the condition that if he is gay as well)!
