  1. Thank You, Michael

Very sensible, measured and honourable video!

    1. And therefore totally out of character!

      1. I guess none of you ‘thumbs down’ folk have been on the receiving end of one of his tantrums… But it’s a good cause so I guess I was a bit grouchy

    Well done, Michael!

Just wait for a backlash from our opponents. I strongly believe in equal access to CPs and Civil Marriage for both orientations, but for the opponents it’s a double-edged sword. On the one hand they use CPs as justification for not introducing equal civil marriage even though many of them don’t even agree with them either and on the other, they could use it as fodder saying that CPs for straights would diminish the meaning of marriage and blame it on us again. There’s no pleasing these people.

How your gravy train doing Michael?
I suppose you need to do a few PR stunts like this just to justify your existence and the ludicrous money you are on for doing bugger-all.

    1. Never one to ignore an opportunity to push anti European or right wing extrremist rhetoric, are you Spanner?

Even when its distracting from someone speaking out in favour of equal marriage!

      Shame on you.

        Anti- EU membership, yes.
Extreme right wing? No. That is just the perspective from a neo-Marxist such as yourself.

Frankly, I don’t care what the man is saying because he is just another parasite. You would rally for Osama Bin Laden if he happened to wave a rainbow flag.

        The shame is all yours.

        1. Neo – marxist that other bollocks term that right wing extremists favour – like the PC gone mad. Another diversionary attempt to deflect any criticism for their belligerence or bigotry (which we are supposed to congratulate). Bollocks to that!

As for Osama bin Laden – get real!

As for supporting people waving a rainbow flag. I’ll support people who support gay rights, that does not mean I support everything about them. I am able to be a little more sophisticated than that, shame not everyone else is the same.

Just because I am anti-EU makes me neither belligerent or bigoted. I personally believe it’s the worst thing that has happened to this country since WWII. They couldn’t bomb us out of our homes, so now they do it by stealth and bleed us dry instead.

Sorry, but gay rights is just one facet of someone’s political standpoint.
If you are naive enough to support somebody simply because they happen to align in that one respect, you deserve all you get. One needs to look at the bigger picture.

          2. I didn’t say that your anti EU approach was the cause of your belligerence.

I do look at the bigger picture, LGBT rights is only one aspect of my political decision making. I am capable of supporting people who do endorse LGBT rights whilst opposing them on other issues.
