  1. What a pretty young woman.

    1. With a head full of sh!t.

    2. Looks to me like her beauty is only skin deep.

    3. What a stupid young woman.

      As stupid as you, Jean.

    4. Given to judging books by their covers, Jean?

(And first off the mark on this thread again, well done you.)

  2. “A lie from the devil” yes of course it is love, no kidding you, is there?

    1. Proof people who eat dogs turn into dogs.

  3. Christopher 30 Apr 2012, 5:04pm

Love how these Christians are so anxious to tell thre rest of the world how to live, inferring that they themselves are somehow faultless and superior and “chosen”… as I get older, it angers me more and more. So much for Christianity being a humbling thing… Aren’t the meek supposed to inherit the Earth? Darwin blew THAT theory out of the water!!!!

    1. Archbishop of Taunton 30 Apr 2012, 5:19pm

No he didn’t. There are no doubt environments were meekness is a good survival instinct, along with the capacity to run (away) fast. It’s the survival of the fittest (as in the most appropriate), not the most aggressive.

  4. Archbishop of Taunton 30 Apr 2012, 5:13pm

She thinks she’s God’s messenger? Goodness me.

  5. Scott Lovely 30 Apr 2012, 5:31pm

She is pretty, though I’ve seen prettier ladyboys, but she’s also pretty dumb.

  6. She’s dumb as dirt. Apparently, someone told her that if she wanted a career in the West, she had better tone down her stupidity. Let her stay in the Phillipines.

  7. What would you expect from someone like this. “Beauty” pageants are for the stupid who like to ogle the stupid.

  8. God damn she’s beautiful. It’s a shame she’s so ignorant and brainwashed by an evil religion. I hate when people, especially beautiful women IMO, have to be so….. stupid, to put it honestly. Maybe someday she’ll see the light.

    1. “It’s a shame she’s so ignorant and brainwashed by an evil religion”

Like you were with Trans people? Sounds like you still are brainwashed.

Move along, we have enough bigots here without adding a stupid gay one like you to the list.

    2. I was never told anything about transgenderism, I heard about it on TV and on the internet and nowhere else.

I’m not stupid either. People who are stupid are the ones that 1. Don’t know what gender is 2. Beat a dead horse

      1. “I heard about it on TV and on the internet and nowhere else.”

        Then get a real education.

Gender identity disorder is a REAL and medically accepted condition. So, you think you know more then medical science with your “TV and internet” learning? Do you?

Please. You’re the biggest f*****g idiot there is:- someone who can’t even see how stupid they are.

You’re a bigot and an idiot. You’ve proven both yourself.

A repugnant individual like you must have to resort to the internet for a lot of things, as no one would touch you.

  9. darkmoonman 30 Apr 2012, 6:25pm

    ““I’m sorry LGBT.”

Yeah, after her hairdresser, manicurist, and dresser all showed her how she’d look in the future. Can we say “Bitch”?

  10. By the way, I don’t know why she’d apologize to LGBT, and not LGB because she insulted sexual orientation, not gender identity.

    1. Or you could just get the massive transphobic stick out of your @rse, realise that LGBT is an umbrella term for a lot of people in common usage.

    2. “By the way, I don’t know why she’d apologize to LGBT, and not LGB because she insulted sexual orientation, not gender identity.”

Another bigoted response from the dumb f*** Lumi Bigot.

    3. FranklyBewildered 30 Apr 2012, 8:23pm

~Because as masty as she is, she’s not as nasty as you, Lumi.

    4. This has nothing to do with “transphobia”

What she said was about SEXUAL ORIENTATION. LGB and T are WAY different.

      1. Common parlance usage. A concept you wilfully disregard at every opportunity because you have a bloody chip on your shoulder.

      2. Despite your personal views of transgenderism you need to realize that LGB and T are VERY different

I have no chip on my shoulder when it comes to that subject. Thanks.

        1. Oh, shut up you vile woman.

        2. “I have no chip on my shoulder when it comes to that subject”

Sure you don’t. You’re so bloody stupid you’re can’t see it. The rest of us LGB are very different to you. You’re the “T” – It means THICK.

        3. Yes, you do, and you repeat it ad bloody nauseam every single chance you get.

  11. These beauty queens are usually very dumb in the first place so why should we even bother to recognize her stance on the matter?
Sure its nice that she has jumped a little further away from the crazy train but she’s still completely irrelevant.

  12. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 7:47pm

Lived there 3 years. every single person lied, stole, ripped me off. they said their God would strike me down but the person who struck me down was Puey Quinones, my boyfriend and his family, who stole my life savings. His mother is a headmistress, his father a police colonel. They lied, stole cheated, but everything was in the name of God.

  13. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 7:51pm

They hate queers, yet look at every choir- the prettiest boys in every town; the priests the campest. My lover’s sister got pregnant at age 14 and they put her on the big dipper to get rid of the child. Remember the name- Quinones- from Samar and Manila. Thieves, liars, bigots. The most dangerous country in the world.

    1. I understand your feelings Mr. Peter Gregory… But it is not a valid reason to generalize us with your flaring and ignorant words.

  14. Too late the tosh has already passed your lips! Not so easy to put it back!

  15. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 7:54pm

EVERYONE cheats you, all have guns, all say queers should die, so they say they are ENTITELED to take our life savings. All are liars, cheats and hypocrites. Say ione thing in church, do the opposite outside. Thieves.

    1. OK Peter, we get it. Move on buddy.

  16. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 8:05pm

Just exactly WHAT IS a lie from the devil? Is it the bigotry and hatred they give to gays? Is it the endemic corruption there? Is it the total lack of a functioning judicial system? Is it kidnapping every day over 30 Chinese businessmen? Is it targeting every foreigner?

  17. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 8:07pm

Nver mind gays- look at the massacre of those Chinese tourists on the bus right next to the american embassy- by a Filipino POLICEMAN

  18. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 8:11pm

How did the head of Abu Sayaf walk through 7 sets of locked doors at Camo Crame, the most secure police jail in the country? How many gays have been murdered in the parks of Manila last year? How many gays have faced police extortion?

  19. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 8:20pm

Perhaps the “lie from the devil” is the promise that something like 13 % of the Philippinos owning 87% of the land, rsources and finance will change. Nothing has changed since Marcos. i used to think it would- that there was some hope- sadly the church is a mainstay of this, so nothing will change.

  20. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 8:36pm

Please provide an explanation for the reason for deletion of all my comments. For example regarding the ownership of land and wealth, the massacre of the chinese tourists inthe bus, the blackmail of gays by police, the murders in the main Manila park. Don’t block out provable facts- check them on the internet.

Erano admitted he was drunk when he attacked Edmund and says it was fueled by feelings of frustration that three of his children were gay.

Currently the Philippines doesn’t have any hate-crimes laws and Edmund, who has suffered serious burns and blisters, is technically too old to be covered by national child-protection laws.

“We plead to the government to initiate proactive programs that provides parents and LGBT children the opportunities to promote freedom of expression of sexuality and gender… We are born this way and you cannot punish us to change our sexuality,” says PLHCW spokesperson Reighben Labille. “We fear that so many violent acts perpetrated by parents and legal guardians against their LGBT children go unreported. It is so urgent for Congress to find ways to protect sons and daughters of whatever age from family-based violence.”

MANILA, Philipines – There has been a steady and alarming rise in violence against members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) community in the Philippines over the past 15 years, new research conducted by an LGBT advocacy group suggests, in line with a call for the police and the Commission and Human Rights to acknowledge and formally look into the troubling trend.

For the first half of 2011 alone, as of June 17, the Philippine LGBT Hate Crime Watch says it has documented 28 killings within the gay community. This figure already nearly equals homicide and murder figures for 2010, which is pegged at 29.

  23. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 8:45pm

5 January 2012, 9:48am The Philippine LGBT Hate Crime Watch said today that 19-year-old Edmund Padilla was left with burns and blisters after his father, Erano, attacked him with boiling water.

Erano Padilla reportedly told police he attacked his son as a result of pent-up feelings experienced when he found out three of his children were gay.

Philippine women’s empowerment organization Kaisa Ka (Unity of Women for Freedom) reports that gay men in Cebu City (the Philippines second city) have been attacked by pellet guns by men in moving vehicles.

The exact number of victims is unknown and none of the perpetrators have been found.

In August the Philippine Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered Hate Watch project reported that hate crimes, including murder, of LGBT people are rising.

In Baguio, north of Manila, the Catholic Church has been accused of stirring up harassment of local LGBT after reports that gay people had ‘married’.

The number of killed LGBT Filipinos is staggering. Twenty-eight have been murdered as of this year alone (last updated 17-June-2011). Twenty-nine were reported to have been murdered last year. Expanding the timeframe to as early as 1996, 103 have been killed in total.

Sixty-one of the killed were Gay men, twenty-six were transgendered, twelve were lesbian, and four were bisexuals. It is possible that more may add to it as the year progresses.

His hands and feet bound and his body riddled with stab wounds, Palanca award-winning writer Winton Ynion was found dead in his Quezon City condominium unit two years ago. He was homosexual.

It was the death of Ynion and of many others that prompted several LGBT rights groups ? including Ladlad, ProGay, and Queer Pagan Network ? to march to the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) in Quezon City on Tuesday to present a list of 56 homosexuals whose deaths remain unsolved.

Philippines: Bishop hits ruling allowing “Ang Ladlad” to participate in polls – by http://www.gmanews.tv/story/188103/bishop-hits-ruling-allowing-ang-ladlad-to-participate-in-polls#
“Caloocan Bishop Deogracias Iniguez said on Saturday allowing a party-list group for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBT) in Congress is pushing for “abnormality.”

  29. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 8:52pm

“MANILA, Philippines?Suddenly, we are back in the middle Ages! The resolution of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) denying Ang Ladlad accreditation to run under the party-list system is an example of society?s marginalization of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender (LGBT).”

“In its resolution, the second division said that although the group had complied with all the requirements for accreditation under the party-list system, Ang Ladlad was being denied accreditation because it tolerates immorality. Proof? The division cited passages from the Bible and the Koran, adding that Ang Ladlad offended religious beliefs.

The Philippines: Religious Opposition Stalls Progressive Legislation
Among the rights-based bills in the Filipino Congress, two have encountered unwavering opposition from the Church. The first of these is House Bill 00017, a comprehensive reproductive health bill that owes much to the advocacy of the Reproductive Health Alliance Network, RHAN. The second piece of legislation is the anti-discrimination bill, House Bill 956. LAGABLAB, the Lesbian and Gay Legislative Advocacy Network, has been the prime mover of this bill.

This hatred of gays couldn’t be anything to do with her bitter divource from that mega-rich Italian, could it?

  32. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 9:04pm

But this Miss Universe runner-up won’t be rushing headlong into another romance. “One must love oneself fully before loving another,” Quiambao is quoted as saying. “Loving others must come from our overflow.”

So. she’s loving others- gays now issit? Nope! Rich now but full of hatred

  33. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 9:07pm

“”When I was married, I was so dependent on my husband. He gave me an allowance”. So she married for love then issit? VERY rich Italian with property in hong Hong. Hmmm…

  34. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 9:08pm

Excuse me: I thought that divorce was a bad thing in the eyes of the Catholic church. So ready to lay into others, issit?

“As a Christian, I saw the God’s Holy Spirit speaking through Miriam Quiambao’s stand on the Bottomline earlier. Praise Jesus that He intercede!” Twitter user Filipiniana Bueno posted.
Quiambao, the 2009 Miss Universe 1st runner-up known for taking a stumble clarified her statements via the social media site Twitter.
She posted: “Homosexuality but it is a lie from the devil. Do not be deceived.
Twitter user thons edano posted: “I think miriam quiambao is crazy. Read all her tweets. Shes using God’s name. Which doesn’t fit someone who’s divorced” while controversial tour guide Carlos Celdran said: “@miriamq Um..A lie from the devil?? Miriam. When did you become a freakshow? Dahell? Didn’t see this one coming. Wow. You need help, woman.”

  36. Peter Gregory 30 Apr 2012, 9:20pm

Her so- called apology:”The Truth is the Truth that comes from God. Take it or leave it. We will all face the judgement seat of God,” she said. “Mahal ko ang LGBT. That’s why I am sharing with you the truth. If you are not ready for it, don’t shoot me. I am just a messenger.”

    1. I’m afraid this barrage of consecutive posts makes you seem deranged, Peter Gregory.

  37. Peter Gregory

Please next time try to get all your thoughts in a few large posts at the most, not 23 different posts. Thanks.

  38. I can personally say homosexuality isn’t a lie. It very much exists and it’s not pretending.

  39. Why would anyone care about the the “thoughts” of a beauty queen?

    1. I don’t really care, but it’s still hurtful what she is saying

      1. But when you call trans people “wrong”, that’s not hurtful? Hypocrite.

        1. You’re wasting your breath on this one, I suspect she has some medical or physiological condition that prevents her from seeing what she is.

    2. de Villiers 1 May 2012, 11:09am

What is this popular concept of “hurtful”? It wallows in self-affirmed grief and victimhood.

What this woman said was not “hurtful” in any meaningful sense of the word. It was irritating and it was stupid. No-one with sense and maturity would say that they are “hurt” or “full of hurt” from the empty and hollow noises of a non-entity of a beauty queen.

  40. See? Beauty IS only skin deep.

  41. This is nearly as bad as that idiot who was asked about why American kids can’t find their own country on a map. Miss World is not Miss Worldly-wise, that’s for sure.

    1. de Villiers 1 May 2012, 11:11am

      > Miss World is not Miss Worldly-wise, that’s for sure.

      Absolutely on point.

  42. people dont make these comments unless they belieive them it’s to late to put the gage on once its been said pretty she maybe but the truth is she is the evil one with her thoughts. go back to your devil god young lady.

  43. Miriam made a fatal mistake of speaking her mind regarding homosexuality. One can’t say anything the gays don’t like to hear, they will destroy her until they make a mockery out of her. That is their character. The best way is to just say, this is what the Bible says regarding homosexuality: God only created man and woman; that the Bible refers to homosexuality as a sin and a perversion; that it is an abomination to the Lord. However, who has not sinned? There is no lesser sin or bigger sin because God treats all sin as sin. We have all sinned, as the Bible says. God loves the sinner not the sin. He loves each and everyone of us. Hence, God will easily forgive us and will help transform us so that His plan and purposes in our lives can happen.

No need to apologize, you have a right to your own opinion. Spare yourself from relentless attacks from them, let them attack the Bible.

    1. The Bible attacks itself. It’s a pile of nonsense. Like you and your mom.

    2. One can’t say anything the gays don’t like to hear, they will destroy her until they make a mockery out of her.

She made a mockery of herself thanks to her remarkable lack of intelligence and deficient learning. Which, it would seem, could easily apply to you too.

  44. She’s as young as she is beautiful. I think there’s still hope for her poisoned mind.

  45. Maybe you need to watch “Prayers for Bobby”, Miriam, to understand what you need to understand about us members of the LGBTQ community. Your Christianity is filled with sheer hypocrisy and bigotry… So be careful of your words… :(
