I think it’s good for the people who are governing our country to get down and talk to the gay, bi and transgender community. It gives them an insite that not many people get in the posh community and told to keep their nose in the clouds.
I only wish though as a member of the young LGTB community that the people in councils come and talk to people like us to see how much homophobic bullying affects the young community.
With the government having such cuts to these services like the youth groups, they are only making worse the issue of homophobic bullying. I know people who come to the club who have suffored from homophobic bullying and feel so relief knowing that there are other people like them and that they have support there.
