  1. Shame on them. How arrogant to sit there and think that the developed world is way off on this.

I hope it’s not long before they catch up, purely for the Russian LGBT community’s sake.

    1. Russia is not part of the developed world. It’s a developing world country with a dreadful human rights record.

Not completely true, but to a certain extent. East Germany endorsed LGBT-rights more than West Germany. But if you look in general at former and present communist countries they are more homophobic,

Russia has yet to grasp the concepts of the right to life, and due process, to say the least, so human rights for gays is way beyond their comprehension.

You belong there along with all the other pissed up homophobic morons. Enjoy love enjoy, and be sure to sleep on the pavement in the middle of a winter’s night like so many of the other drunks do after they have finished off five or six bottles of cheap vodka too.

So the Russia has no part in the UN, If they are not prepared to give gay people rights why must gay people visit their country for that matter why must we allow any of our funds to support that country and maybe we should complain to the companies that do business there forcing them to close shop, just like what was done to get South Africa to change. yes some people will suffer but it is the only way forward
