  1. As one of my Twitter friends put it: the muppets of the Australian parliament have lost their Kermit.

  2. Thank-you Bob Brown, a politician who will be sadly mised. A man who has stood by his principles and given the nation much much more than he took, see Bush Heritage. A restful and happy retirement.

“Mr Brown” – um, i think you mean “Dr Brown”.

I’m sad to hear this, he’s been a fantastic leader of the Greens.

    Happy retirement!

  5. Very sad loss to our politics. Dr Brown was one of the very few truly honest politicians we had. A man of great integrity who did much to save the enviroment and speak up on issues that other politicians with their many vested interests would not. He is a great role model for gay people and will be sorely missed.
