No, I think in fact Christians in a country where they’re a minority are quite capable of asserting their own beliefs (I say that having been brought up as one in a country where Christianity is a minority religion).

The parents in these communities have their heads in the sand about ALL their children’s activities, not just the gay and lesbian ones. But our highest-in-the-world rate of ethnic inter-marriage will smooth out these cultural bumps within a few generations. In the meantime there is a vibrant sex-on-premises industry serving the remaining anglo closet cases (mostly older), politicians, and ethnic minorities.
