Lesbians and gay rights advocates took to the streets of London this weekend to improve the visibility of lesbians in the tradition of the American Dyke Marches.

Speakers including Paris Lees, Lady Phill Opoku-Hyimah, Kirsten Hearn, Chinese artist and lesbian activist Shi tou and LGBT activist Clare Dimyon addressed the assembled women before they marched on through Soho on Saturday in the first London event of its kind since the 1980s.
