No, let’s not!
All the rumors are completely false. There was no interview, and Bruno Mars didn’t even do an interview in the past week. The rumors were started by 4chan which is an internet trolling site, and they have planned this whole thing out. Here is a snapshot of their message board describing their ‘operation’:

There are about 450 members and they are all trying to spread the rumors around (and they’ve been quite successful in doing so!). Bruno is not gay. He actually has a long term girlfriend Jessica Caban. He didn’t call up any radio station. His rep has even confirmed that the whole story is completely fabricated and false. It’s funny how people believe everything they hear! -__-
It’s not a trolling site. It’s called a forum. The users to many other things than trolling, like, uh, having conversations LOL.

Thumbs down? I’m just reporting the truth- there was a thread with a game where the winner got to choose what celebrity they outed by spreading the rumor, and the winner chose him.

Whether or not this story is true, I must admit that the very first time I ever heard of and seen a pic of this Mars dude my gaydar said “gay”. of course as we all know gaydar is far from infallable so we will have to wait and see what his next move is. Ricky Martin comes quickly to mind and the trickle reveal he used..

I cringe when I see headlines describing someone whose come out as having “admitted” their sexuality. The implication being that there’s something shameful the have to confess. It’s another example of how deeply ingrained homophobia is in our media.

I don’t understand why people are mad at me for just reporting the story. I didn’t take part in it, and I don’t think what they did was right, as being gay is nothing to be ashamed of and even if Bruno was gay, it would be nobody’s business but his.
Perhaps when you reveal yourself to be as prejudiced and hideously phobic against another minority that this website is intended for. Those people who don’t agree with your other bigoted views then turn against you. Perhaps some people don’t trust any of your views anymore because you think the trans community have mental health problems.

One thing for these Pink News articles, they often alert me to people, or even ‘artist[e]s’, of whose existence I’d hitherto been wholly ignorant. (Though ignorance in some instances is bliss.)
The worrying thing is that he is so quick to deny it that he obviously thinks being thought of as gay is a bad thing for his career or personal life. ‘Gay’ is still thought of as defective or second rate to some people.
Also that this site 4chan thought it was a joke to out somebody purely at random. Very funny, I don’t think.
He wasn’t so quick to deny it- I don’t think he even knew what went on, as he was in New York at the time, preparing for The Rainforest Fund Concert (and he was tweeting about musical chairs lol). If someone made a rumor about you (regardless of whether it’s positive or negative), you would want to set the record straight; and it’s a representative job to do this in a quick and efficient manner. 4chan purposely chose to start the rumor on April Fools Day, because they knew that he would get stick for addressing an important issue on that particular day (by the way, he didn’t do a single interview in the past week). It was very cleverly planned out. 4chan also tried to start a rumor that Lady Gaga had cancer. As you can tell, they’re nothing but a sad bunch of individuals!
I read the news as, the singer denies that he has come out of the closet!
