  1. A really good day – at least twice as many people on the march as last year, and great to see such a broad spread of ages among the crowd. It wouldn’t surprise me if Exeter Pride outgrows the Phoenix Arts Centre (where the match ended up) next year – it was really packed yesterday after the march.

It’s nice to see towns and cities that are not normally associated with the gay scene hosting Gay Pride events. Statistitcally even a modest sized town with 25-30,000 inhabitants will be home to 1,000 LGBT people. Preston in Lancashire will be hosting a gay event as part of it’s Guild celebrations later this year. The gay scene in Preston is small with most LGBT people heading off to nearby Manchester and Blackpool to enjoy the scenes there.

  3. Thankfully we dont have one here, we are all liberal and this sort of thing is not welcome.
