  1. Another party of freedom and small government? What a joke.

  2. I find it shocking that both Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are both such right wing extremists that they would be totally demonised and never taken seriously in the UK and yet they are being taken seriously in the USA. I just hope the fact that such ghastly people are potential opponents to Obama will make a win for Obama easier.

  3. Is there anything this man won’t do for power? He has completely abandoned his pragmatic, moderate approach as Governor of Massachusetts to pander to the extreme right of his party in order to get where he wants to get. I believe he’s less dangerous than Santorum, but also less trustworthy; you can’t believe a word he says.

    1. Well put almost anyone next to Santorum and they come off looking like progressives. Saying “hey I’m less bigoted than Santorum” is hardly a stretch.
The problem is that Santorum wears his bigotry on his sleeve where Romney is more inclined to show his hand only when it’s expedient to do so.

And the biggest donor in fact the founders of NOM are the Mormon cult, and Romney is a Mormon of course.

The 990 form is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) form that all corporations have to file annually in the U.S. Failure to disclose donations exceeding $5000 can result in prosecution, a heavy fine or jail or both and in the case of NOM, a non-profit (what a joke that is), it’s tax-exempt status could be revoked. NOM has yet to disclose it’s donor base since two of its appeals have been struck down.

Robert George, founder of NOM, just was appointed to the US Commission for International Religious Freedom. NOM’s talking points, arguments and strategies come from this man, who calls for the arrest and imprisonment and promoting bigotry of LGBT people. If you believe NOM’s tactics are reprehensible, please take the time to fill out this petition on the White House’s webpage condemning the appointment of Robert George. Pass the word along and post where you it is appropriate.

What a joker, NOM’s Brian Brownshirt, repeating that marriage equality is not a civil right, when it is. Marriages are recorded in the CIVIL REGISTRAR. Hello? What’s more, is that by repeating that marriage equality is not a civil right, he is repeating NOM’s strategy of racial division, trying to appeal to black anti-gay bigots who refuse to accept that gay rights are also civil rights.

The point raised by Blazer is important. He is Republican. Historically they are not pro gay, so that in itself isn’t newsworthy.

The deceptive and concealed nature of the donation is the key issue here, and that raises the issue of trust.

He doesn’t like us. He made a donation to people who are against us is one thing. People can take a view on it one way or another when they vote.

In this case however, not only was his opaque in his actions to those of us who absolutely don’t like what he is doing, but also to those who if they knew who probably support him wholeheartedly.

My guess is there are probably a large number of people somewhere in the middle, who would tend to a Republican vote or are undecided, but who don’t find his attitudes towards gay people something that strengthens their support for the party. Romney probably does not wish to alienate that vote, and the response to this revelation needs to be focused on this group to cause most damage to his campaign.

Everything is wrong about this man, from his absurdly small penis to his tiny, tiny brain.

  9. Don’t forget that Rupert – my media empire is in trouble- Murdock, is helping to bankroll the Republicans. Ditch your Sky boxes and broadband!

    1. Never had Sky these lazy immoral gits will turn a blind eye so they can watch the crap on sky 1 chav TV at its best

The recent outbursts by Romney and Santorum on the issue of reproductive rights for women, their opposition to abortion rights in particular are not going to sit well with the women voters who outnumber men in the voting booth. It also alienates moderate Independents, the voting bloc which usually decides the outcome of an election of late. They can’t use same-sex marriage again as a wedge issue among others which cost them the election in 2008. Even if Romney is going to be the nominee, I don’t think he will win although it will be a close race. The most important thing now is for the democrats not to lose any seats in the Senate where legislation is passed and that one more republican isn’t appointed to the Supreme Court. If the republicans gain any more seats or power in the court, LGBT people can kiss equality goodbye and women their reproductive rights.

    1. I’m so afraid you might be right.

  11. Where are the gay republicans and tories?

    bunch ok lickspittles

  12. Romney a Mormon is just another anti-gay person who like his friends the Christians gives money, millions to NOM, http://www.hrc.org/blog/entry/one-of-noms-top-secret-donors-revealed-mitt-romney. The Mormons and the Christians have a hidden agenda for Christians who pretend to be gay or are ex gay Christian to infiltrate gay groups to spy and disrupt them, this has been going on for a some time now. This is another one of their secrets that needs to be exposed. Just like the Christians who are secretly giving money to stop gays and gay marriage, using hate groups like NOM to do it.

  13. The fall-out from Prop H8 continues- the gift that keeps on giving.

  14. Leave it to someone in a alien worshipping cult to tell others how to live especially while sneaking around doing it. The way he went about this speaks volumes about him as a person. Shame on those fanning the flames of hate.

    1. How true…
