The guy in the necktie is drawn with a smaller nose and chin, and less hair stubble, than the “transvestite” character is. The people making this ad have a really screwed-up idea of trans people.

  2. Note who paid for this ad – “Chapel by the Sea”. Any surprises that the christianist hate-mobgers have a finger in this pie?

  3. ALL SCHOOLS MUST TEACH MANDATORY KINDNESS AND DIVERSITY, TRAINING , TO LET CHILDREN BE AWARE , THAT THEIR ARE OTHER KIDS IN SCHOOLS WHO ARE TO BE RESPECTED EVEN THO THEY DO NOT LOOK LIKE YOU ARE DATE LIKE YOU, IGNORANCE CAUSES MISCONCEPTIONS LEADING TO WEAKNESS IN ONES MATABLOLISM, TO FEED OFF OF DEFAMATIONS , LIES, TOLD BY FALSE PROPHETS AND HATE GROUPS , TEACHING CHIDREN TO LOVE AND BE KIND TO OTHERS IS A MUST, MANY CHILDREN WILL END UP D EAD OR IN JAIL BECAUSE OF RACISM AND BIGOTRY TAUGHT BY BIGOTED ADULTS AND ITS THEIR FAULT INCLUDING BIGOTED PARENTS, POLITICIANS AND KLAN AND BAD RELIGONS, THEY NEED TO NO THERE ARE OTHER GENDERS, COLORS , RACES, JUST LIKE THEIR ARE DIFFERENT SIZES, AND HIEGHTS, SOME WEAR GLASSES SOME DONT, MANY HAVE MIXED FAMILIES , AN SOME ARE NOT AS VISIBLE IN THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY

      Caps-Lock Carrie strikes again!

  4. these people are miss guided ,ignorant and sad fear mongers who have no reason to do this except for there own ignorance keeps them from excepting people for who they are and need to understand that the word transvestite is a demeaning and awful word. used to demoralize and trivialize a wonderful and caring group of people they fear out of ignorance and hate for hates sake. I do not understand what these people have to gain from keeping us down and out except for their own self rightiousness. I feel they make this stuff up to drag other ignorant people behind them in order they may complete their selfish and rediculous stand against any group they may not agree with and be blind to fact we are not the ones attacking spreading hate or miss deeds against the minority that we are reather we are the ones being beaten sodimized and demoralized we just want fair and equal treatment not judged by the way we look but by our actions and love of or fellow men and women and any one in betwen

    1. its all about religion – the curse of mankind.

Parts of christianity must have been created by reading the koran

BTW christians justified slavery as per the bible. In general, the only remaining slavery on the planet is in Islamic states.

  5. This is disgusting. It’s not even a joke, it’s just awful. And FYI, Mr Minnery, “sexual minorities” does not include trans people, only LGB people. The phrase you’re looking for is “gender minorities”, and having that added to discrimination protections is why the amendment is being put forward in the first place.

Typical American Christian fundamentalists. At least Alaska’s Proposition 5 is preferable to California’s Proposition 8.

  7. The recourse of those with no argument:- try scaring people.

The sad part is the number of fools that listen.

What a bigoted, one tracked advert.

Not only does it paint this blatent negative stereotype of a trans person, but it conveniently forgets to mention one thing: Some trans people have children of their own. With that in mind, are trans people horrid parent, no. Are they abuse, not in any way more than any other parent, so no.

The underlying message of this advert is simple and cruel: do not give trans people equal rights to employment

    disgusting

  9. I think it’s only fair to ask Pink News t mention the websites from which it steals all its American news stories.

Isn’t stealing other people’s news stories plagiarism?

  10. Even if this cartoon was accurate,I think kids have more to fear from a “manly” father or a “manly” uncle raping them, then a man in a dress. People really need to grow up and get over this bloody ridiculous smokescreen they live behind.
