It always amazes me when they “apologise” after the fact when they’re caught in the act or someone gets on their case. He wouldn’t have made such a feeble, disingenuous apology had Mark Bingham’s mother not called him out on it.

What an idiot. Apology is good if he meant it but I have doubts and think it’s because he got caught out.
It’s somehow always the people who ‘ought to know better.’ Some paid-up PC homo-friendly straight friends of mine once expressed astonishment at the existence of a gay miners’ support group. Surely no gay man would hack away sweatily at a coal-face? Duuuuhhh!
Often, anyway – I had a woman friend who found it inconceivable that a gay man would be uninterested in Eurovision, while someone I know was asked by a friend of his whether gay men had a particular aptitude for tennis (yeah, right, because of course a liking for cock translates into handiness with a racquet)!
Perhaps it is assumed that manual skill with the one is transferable to the other. I have personally not found this to be the case, and in any case I infinitely prefer cocks to tennis racquets.
