Maybe, one day, he’ll get it.

    1. Spanner1960 29 Mar 2012, 10:46am

Somehow, I think he already has, but there none so blind as those that refuse to see.

Sizzla is booked to appear in Amsterdam at De Melkweg on 30th March and ticketmaster are handling ticket sales . I am banned/blocked from commenting on Melkweg fb page and surprisingly am banned/blocked from posting on Pink Papers fb page to :)

  3. How bad are the lyrics. Do they incite hatred?

    1. Ok, found it; he was denied a UK visa 8 years ago on the grounds he writes and performs murder music advocating the killing of white people and gays.

How would any European country be ok with this person performing there?

The guy should be in prison.

      1. David Wainwright 28 Mar 2012, 11:22pm

he has since signed up to a humanitarian style pledge but performed boom bye bye to “SHOW SOLIDARITY ” with the imprisoned Buju Banton , he “EXPLAINED “

    2. David Wainwright 28 Mar 2012, 11:23pm

his song called for BURNING of LGBT people in the BIBLICAL sense , he hides behind his bible and locks and preaches LOVE

      1. Maybe he should get stoned, in the biblical sense.

    3. David Wainwright 29 Mar 2012, 12:11am

lyrics such as ”bun out the chichi, bun out the sisi, batty dem ah fu*k etc”

      1. How very macho. I wonder what these boys are trying to prove.

        1. jamestoronto 29 Mar 2012, 3:05am

Nothing at all. They cannot prove one macho thing at all. They are so dereft of masculinity they do no know how to display it except to be thugs.

      2. Intelligent lyrics then ;-)

    4. Tyler The Creator 29 Mar 2012, 9:35am

Step up inna frontli-iiine, fire fi di man dem weh go ride man behind

  4. I dont think he will ever be welcome in any western europe country

    1. [C]oncerts are still planned for Italy, France, Belgium, Norway, the Netherlands and Spain, as it says in the article.

  5. Yay Sweden! I wish the US would ban homophobes.

    1. No, keep them over there and stop exporting them.

      1. That’s not fair to us LGB people over here. We should ship them all to Saudi Arabia (and rescue the LGBs over there too).

    2. jamestoronto 29 Mar 2012, 4:15am

Wishes are great but it will NEVER happen. Right now the US is infused with homophobia
I presently have friends who will be married in Niagara Falls, NY star but will have their reception on the Canadian side of the border because of the hostility they received on the ‘American’ side.
As far as some parts of the USA have come it still has a long way to go

      1. jamestoronto 29 Mar 2012, 4:18am

OOPS That is NY state – although they are full star state in any body’s books.

  6. jamestoronto 29 Mar 2012, 2:58am

This cancellation was just cool. Period. End of. Way to go Sweden!! Some con—es.

  7. johnny33308 29 Mar 2012, 3:50am

Such lyrics, such people have no place in this world….they are dinosaurs whose time has come and gone and they just need to become a distant memory…he should not be able to earn a living off of hatred and bigotry, and he and those like him need to be banned from traveling to any civilized country henceforth…..keep the trash in Jamaica for good and all….

  8. Good on Sweden for doing what is right. Let’s all hope that the other countries in which he is due to play all pull the visa from him and he returns hoem with his tail between his legs

  9. Tyler The Creator 29 Mar 2012, 9:44am

This is not the root of the problem!! Sizzla wasn’t exactly going to perform to an empty arena. The problem are the people with bad taste in music. I remember years back, a lesbian friend of mine brought me to this gay club in brixton and i couldn’t believe people ‘black and white’ dancing to Movado’s ‘Boy dem ah fag’

  10. Khalid Muha*** 29 Mar 2012, 10:03am

All forms of homophobia should be eradicated from all types of music. That does not mean we should focus on a few artists like 50cent, Sizzla or Tyler the creator. what about the likes of Eminem? I’m sure half of you people on here listen to him.

    1. I possess exactly zero of Eminem’s content. The term Rap Music is missing the prefixed C in my opinion.

      1. Dave North 29 Mar 2012, 3:28pm

I reckon it is nothing more than “talking gibberish over some noise”

  11. Joao Paulo 29 Mar 2012, 7:01pm

In Portugal things are going the same way:

  12. Spain(Barcelona,MAdrid,Valencia and Malaga)Cancelled the concert of April thanks to 50.000signs of citizens…Well Done Progressive Spain!!!!
