  1. Good for the court. Given time India will shake off the imposition of morality imported by Islamic and subsequently British Victorian rulers, but for now the government needs to hold firm and let everyone get used to this. India will at some point overtake China and the US to become the world’s dominant cultural and economic power. They no longer have to suffer foreign influences dictating to them on how to run their society.

    As usual of course it’s the religious groups that are last to realise that the world has changed.
