  1. Just another depraved act by the psychopathic cult of Rome. There is such a pattern, all around the world, of abuse and cruelty – And it looks as if wearing a damned dog collar means you can get away with it. It makes me so angry and so sick and so furious at those who collaborate and enable by sitting in pews and putting money on the collection plate.

    1. Couldn’t agree more Valsky…. only read what you wrote after I put up my comment. No doubt we’ll see some apologists coming in here to make the “they’re not all bad” argument.

    2. This is hot on the heels of the Catholic church in Spain being investigated for baby trafficking. A nun has been arrested and it is reported that the frozen corpse of a dead baby was kept and shown to the parents of the children whose living babies were stolen.

        1. KatieMUrphy 7 Apr 2012, 1:46am

People who run right wing churches that believe in absurdities will commit attrocities

  2. This makes for a disgusting read…. clearly this was intended as a threat to others to warn them against reporting priests.

It baffles me how people can support this organisation, faith is one thing, but putting money into the coffers of this lot is an act of criminality against humanity.

  3. And the RC Church still seem to look down on us as if we are animals.

I hope that any victims of this who are still alive come forward so that the world will see what kind of institution the RC Church really is

And we know what the excuse will be, the same as the excuse for the castration of boy sopranos and contraltos in the Sistine Chapel choir: it may have happened but it was never “officially approved”.

    1. Keith Farrell 20 Mar 2012, 2:23pm

who cares, the church was/is liable any of those people still living need to take action against the church. I am very close to “hate” of this church. I have always felt that hate is a wasted energy.

  5. Paula Thomas 20 Mar 2012, 1:03pm

And some people say there’d be no morality without religion! *Shakes head sadly*

  6. Mumbo Jumbo 20 Mar 2012, 1:20pm

A grotesque subversion of a universally accepted human right…..oh, wait…..

    1. Paddyswurds 20 Mar 2012, 1:36pm

      ??where’s my post

      1. Its a sensitive subject ! My putative father was a eunuch !

  7. Paddyswurds 20 Mar 2012, 1:28pm

I have news for you, they castrated boys for reasons less important than homosexuality. The Vatican regularly castrated boys so they could keep on singing in Vatican choirs and no doubt for other less palatable reasons. Until only very recently the age of consent for boys in Vatican city was only 12……. So the fact that it was carried out by the Paedo church in other places is hardly a surprise.

    1. This is a good point. The last castrato singer died less than 100 years ago. Complete and utter madness.

    2. billywingartenson 20 Mar 2012, 8:28pm

I’ve got to get the details. TKS. Even hitler didnt do such things, of course he wanted macho men in his army.

BTW hitler opposed birth control and abortion – more soldiers for his army.

      Same re the RATZInger Pope

      1. Actually doctors in the camps did far worse medical procedures. Don’t accidentally erase history, please. And Hitler ordered millions killed.

  8. ANY “experimental” or human “behavior changing” crimes against homosexuality then, now and in-between is ATROCIOUS, to say the least.

  9. When insidious actions are intended to induce fear as a mens of control and they come from your religion or within your own country, it is “abuse”. When it is from another country or religion it is “terrorism”.

How can the intentional use of FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) by politicians, religions, and corporations not be labeled as terrorism?

The intentional use of fear as a means of control (on any scale) should be prosecuted as treasonous terrorism. To our children, it should be taught that bullying is a one-on-one version of terrorism; a moral and social evil. Unfortunately, these powerful organizations have us, all, brainwashed into believing this is “normal”, so how can we teach our children about the evils of bullying when they see us sit quietly and take the same abuse?

  10. This is absolutely shocking, but not in the least bit surprising. The Roman Catholic church is an immoral and corrupt organisation that will go to any lengths to maintain its hold on peoples’ lives.

  11. Miguel Sanchez 20 Mar 2012, 1:49pm

The the damn Church call us Heathens? They’re the barbarians.

I hope they all rott in hell!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. KatieMUrphy 7 Apr 2012, 1:43am

People who believe in absurdities commit attrocities

  12. If there was a devil it would be a preist hiding in plain site

These people are monsters and the chruch should be raised to the ground

    1. billywingartenson 20 Mar 2012, 8:30pm

notice how they create a persona of the devil, and then name it “Satan”

To make it seem more real.

BTW I think the name Satan in Arabic is Iblis. Same doggy poop, differnt brand name.

  13. ” the figure “differs little from the incidence of abuse among non-Catholics”.”

Is it just me or does this sound like “Everyone else was doing it too so why are you mad at us?”

Ummm – because you covered it up and did nothing to stop the abuse and now you are only giving excuses for it?

  14. Keith Farrell 20 Mar 2012, 2:19pm

why is this church so powerful that they can cover this up, it is disgusting and sick. if is easy to say he requested castration, but a 20 year old, come in, intelagence tell you that no 20 year old would ever allow his balls to be removed. thats the best toy and the only one he will never be able to break. I think things need more investagation and that the Pope must be held responsible for all this

    1. It’s also a bit suspicious that he died in a car crash only a few years later. But maybe that’s just me with my conspiracy head on.?

      1. Mary Marriott 20 Mar 2012, 4:32pm

no i wondered about the crash too — rather convenient ?

Hope we re wrong -but how will we ever know ?

        1. Times are changing and the catholic church has very few friends these days so perhaps more of its secrets will be coming to light ! , God Willing ! I’m not an apoligist for these sick bastazrds BUT it has to be said that the institution of the church has cleared up the mess “other” europeans have made over the centuries . . . its a very multi faceted institution !

    2. Not saying it was the case in this instance, but 20-year-old, and much younger, transsexual males have been pleading for castration, and more, for thousands of years, and always been totally sane with it.

  15. sick religious bastards

  16. More crimes by the Catholic church against humanity. How can they commit so many and horrendous crimes against humanity and get away with it? Now they are being investigated for baby trafficking in Spain, how many more crimes will they get away with before somebody somewhere stands up and stops these psychopathic people? The Catholic Ministry of Propaganda must be working over time as well as the Vatican Bank to pay off money to keep the mouths shut of so many “moral” people, or do they just threaten them with death? Where are the Catholic family values now?

    1. billywingartenson 20 Mar 2012, 9:15pm

Rwemember the root of the vatican was best described by another catholic, Goebbels

If you tell a lie often enough and outrageous enough, it will be seen as the truth.

Paul Joseph Gobbels – a catholic who got hitler elected.

Why did he support hitler – (replace xxxx with 4 letter abreviation for national socialism, all lower case.

  17. Peter & Michael 20 Mar 2012, 4:43pm

It is a pity that this matter wasn’t addressed in the recent Newsnight programme when Jeremy Paxman was questioning the roman catholic spokesman Nichols.

  18. johnny33308 20 Mar 2012, 6:54pm

It is not really believable that someone would be castrated at their “own request”….the very idea is patently absurd. The church will do ANYTHING to keep its predatory habits hidden from public view, including murdering opponents….it is like the Mafia, in fact.., in so very many ways….it has no moral high ground to speak about anything ethical or spiritual at all.

    1. 20-year-old, and much younger, transsexual males have been pleading for castration, and more, for thousands of years, and always been totally sane with it. Not saying it was the case in this instance.

  19. Don Harrisoin 20 Mar 2012, 7:13pm

It was Pope Urban 2nd who start the Crusades. The Catholics were barbaric then too.

  20. A mentor of mine once told me “Where you hear the BIble being quoted you usually find the devil.”. She was right!

  21. Castrating. The victims. Of Catholic clergy pedophilia. And these people have the nerve to assert that same-sex marriage and parenting are somehow inadequate. I’m speechless.

  22. GingerlyColors 21 Mar 2012, 7:03am

How many more horror-stories are we going to hear about the Catholic Church? When is the Pope going to take his head out of the sand and stop banging on about the supposed evils of homosexuality? It makes me vomit.

  23. David Turner - Baptist Pastor 21 Mar 2012, 10:26am

A teenager came out as gay just a year ago and the Exclusive Brethren arranged for him to be chemically castrated. When that didn’t work, they excommunicated him, and his parents put him out on the street, changed the locks and told him they never wanted to see him again.
I went through electronic shock therapy arranged by the State President of the Baptist Church here. It didn’t work, but it did prove medically I was born gay.

    1. Medical treatment forced, or denied, for religious reasons is always abuse. That such sects own hospitals gets very questionable in this context.

I’m shocked at your stories, although “chemical castration” is a rather sensationalist misnomer, since it only shuts down the testes (or ovaries) as long as the drug is administered, quite unlike castration as normally understood. It’s a valid treatment in the right circumstances (such as a hormone-assisted cancer), but not a good experience when forced though.

  24. David Wynyard 21 Mar 2012, 1:17pm

If those responsible for this castration are still alive, Europe should grant an exception so that each of them may have his appointment with Madame Guillotine. Madame Guillotine would provide poetic justice. I volunteer for the honour of pulling the lever.

    1. i think we should have an auction re who pulls the lever.

More money to fight these 10th century madmen in court etc.

  25. Just another of a long line list of abuse that the RC church leadership have tried to cover up.

  26. KatieMUrphy 7 Apr 2012, 1:45am

People who run right wing churches that believe in absurdities commit attrocities

  27. This of course reminds me of Dr. Mengele, hitlers madman doctor who did to Jews etc what would be illegal to chickens today.

As usual, Mengele was catholic. Not surprising , the catholic church culture has tortured an estimated 100,000 kids in the USA with the sex abuse / secrecy scandal

When your hole (purposely mispelled) basis of your existance is a lie, we go back to the story about how lies build on lies build on lies etc.
