Why any LGBT person would want to visit these countries is beyond me!

Good luck to those who were arrested as well as all other LGBT persons in the region. And I hope that one day they will be free to live their lives they we in the west can.

  2. Arresting people for having a private party, what kind of country is that. If they want tourist to visit then they should compromise on strict rules. I know some other attractive places for holidaying where I don’t have to constantly control myself. Stupid country

  4. The people experiencing human rights violations on Earth so vastly outnumber the government officials and religious leaders causing the violations that all one needs to do is to have those experiencing violations punish the violators on sight to bring an end to the violations once and for all.

Advice of anyone travelling to Australia or New Zealand. I suggest that you fly westwards and stop over in the USA, say San Francisco which is far more gay friendly than Dubai. As for visits to the Far East such as Thailand, fly direct – modern aircraft such as the Airbus A340 can fly halfway round the world without refueling. Give Dubai a wide berth.
