If these reports are true, let’s hope other countries deny him entry on the grounds of inciting hatred and homphobia!

“The Local now reports that the appearance at Stockholm was titled “The Reggae Compassionate Act”, though it is not clear this morning why the name had been chosen.”
I’m guessing the chice of title wasn’t an accident.
I can only assume he thinks the joke’s on us, well now the joke’s on him. That’s a whole bunch of concert tickets he won’t be selling.

Just how many times will it take to wake him up. I always wonder about guys who are violently homophobic. Maybe they have yet to come to terms with their own sexuality eh.

Just why any sane country would admit this talentless homophobic yob is beyond me. let him rot in the awful dump that is Jamaica. Maybe in ten or twenty years he will have realised just what an idiot he is……

  9. How can Sizzla not know his people are dieing of HIV/AIDS more than any other
race? How is harming them and and inciting violence helping the blacks? Yes he makes money from Christians who buy his music because that is part of what they support, hate towards LGBT people but it is blood money when it is his people who are dieing. He needs to educate himself and then use his fame to help his people. He like so many others today is a tool of the Christians who want to keep people hating gays, like that will solve the problems. Hate does not work to solve problems. So as long as he hates gays and makes works or supports the Christian hate machine, nobody should support anybody or group that hates, by doing so makes them part of the problem. Keep exposing people and groups like him who hate, so good people know not to support the haters.

    1. For all we know he may see HIV/Aids as a “white man’s disease” and one that brings shame on others – who can be certain of which absurd ideas go through the minds of the ignorant? But I also doubt he sees Africans as “his people” any more than you see, say, Greeks or Russians as “your” people (that’s assuming you’re Anglo-Saxon).

  10. How the recently discriminated against seem to embrace discriminating?

How empty and shallow it makes them seem.

Does that mean when we get equality and are no longer discriminated against we will embrace discrimination against another group? Or is there already a thinly veiled tone of discrimination against ‘them’ in your comment?

        (good move sweden.)

but this man is only one man, and we cant address him as ‘them’ while i agree that he should know better than this, its not because he is black but because he lives in the year 2012.

its not really news to me that there are cultures and religions that are openly against homosexuality but one-up-race-ship isnt going to bring an end to hate.

Seriously, a Jamaican musician with homophobic lyrics is nothing new, that places is disgustingly backward. but I’m glad that he wasn’t allowed to perform in Sweden. I hope he isn’t allowed to perform anywhere that has at least some LGB rights.

It would appear that Mr Sizzla is on a European tour , he is due to perform at De Melkweg in Amsterdam on 30th March, altho little publicity for this appearance on their fb page . Frankly I am shocked at both Melkweg and Amsterdam for allowing him a platform considering his reputation.

  15. The irony is that there are so many closeted men in Jamiaca too stupid to realise that their protestations give them away.

He’s a big old fag who would probably kill a man afer he had his fun a true psyco

  16. One way to protest against the remaining concerts is to sign this Petition: http://www.change.org/petitions/say-no-to-hate-music-don-t-give-a-platform-to-singers-who-call-for-the-murder-of-lgbt-people
The biggest Joke is that MOJO concerts who organize the Madonna Concerts in the Netherlands is also the organizier of the Sizzla Events. That is just unbelievable. They want to make money with us gays and with people who wants to see us dead…
