Brad Pitt is playing the elderly judge? I expect that will tickle the judge!

This will be good to see, will it just be live or will they leave a recording online?

    1. Very likely that it will be recorded and left-up for a time:

This original live production should be recorded and then sold as a fund-raiser for either gay marriage advocacy or combating bullying in schools. I’d “buy” it gladly. They could have a low minimum donation and ask people to give more when they could. A win-win situation.

Looking forward to this. I have read Judge Walker Vaughn’s ruling a number of times – and it is a darned fine piece of writing. And the play is exactly the kind of writing the NOM lunatics wish didn’t exist – as it will show that their “expert” was not, and their legal argument reads like something that was written on the back of a cocktail napkin after a hard night of sobbing and tequila.

    I’ll tell you this.

If the likes of Widdecombe, the Archbish of whatever, the Christian Institute do this in the UK, I will be at their front door demanding to know why they were taking away my rights.

Not 1 more penny of taxation they will get.

It is clear that the “Land of the free” is no such thing.

Run by billionaires and deluded religionists.

    Be afraid.

These US people are funding the Christian Institute and other such vile organisations in the UK.

Stu, put up a brilliant post as to those behind the C4M organisation.

    Read it and weep.

Vigilence, Vigilence, and even more Vigilence.

Excuse the typ[ing, Ive got a very bad cold.

  4. What would be nice is if they load it later for those of us not in the US! I’d like to see this, but 3.30 am start is way too late or too early! lol

I suppose I’ll have to get up at four in the morning then. But I’d totally buy it on DVD, too, if they sell it for the charity. Even without Brad Pitt :-)

Excellent viewing! on conclusion YouTube indicated it would be posted shortly for repeat viewing.

A case argued on “Fear and Prejudice” demonstrated in viewing Proposition 8 to be an Ideology of foolishness.

One of the best tonics after reading what bigots say is to go and view Clooney, Pitt and co re-enacting the prop 8 trial, where all these opponents are totally debunked, and even their own expert comes down on our side under cross-examination . It’s very moving.

We’ve watched it twice in our house, it begins 30 mins into the feed at the moment, just google prop8 Clooney.

As good as their word, AFER has recorded last night’s performance of “8″, and it can be seen in its entirety. I used the link in Jerry’s post (above). Brilliant production.
