  1. Commendable that the issue is finally being addressed.

The message now needs initiative to be conveyed to the fans! It is time as Peter Thatchel suggests to use overhead score boards and perimeter LED displays.

The LED displays have “other” practical purposes other than generating revenue! It’s time for public warnings before and during games indicating “Racial and Homophobic prejudices directed to players or fans will result in fines or bans by this organization”

Time to start putting muscle behind their words!

Bigots are the only ones likely to take offense at this kind of action.

A good start but all sports worldwide have a long way to go to address this problem.

  4. Why is David Cameron just talking about RACISM in football? hez’s been on all day- and all he talks about is RACISM in football.

  5. I want a zero tolerance approach by the FA and football clubs to homophobic by football players.

(Notice how this initiative places the responsibility for homophobia in the game squarely on the shoulders of the fans, and does not even acknowledge the insititutional homophobia of the FA).

I want to see Ravel Morrison face a lifettime ban from the sport for starters.

The fact that he did not think twice about using the word n***** (ooops I meant f*****) means he has brought the game into disrepute and should be banned for life.
