Arguably, one of the most beautiful marriage equality videos ever made. There are a small handful of municipalities in Italy where gay couples do enjoy certain rights but Italy, sadly, needs to do far more at the national level. If Spain and Portugal can, so can Italy.

This is an absolute delight and very moving, though I am a bit prejudiced having lived and worked in Italy, enjoyed many memorable holidays there and am in short an Italophile.

Me too, George. Italian was my main subject at Uni, doubled with German, when combined subjects were offered during the late 60s and early 70s, no longer the case I believe. Shows how old I am.

I think Italy will eventually get there once more countries legalise same-sex marriage, especially the UK, France and Germany.

Happily, this is becoming more of the “usual’ in many countries (and some US states). Sadly, this scenario is generations away in others.

A touching video, the theme of which we can only hope will become more universal.

As one of the proud sponsors of this video I am moved by it every time I see it, and I have seen it many times! Same sex love is a very difficult subject here, and same sex marriage seems light years away, so behind the sweetness of this video there is true courage too.

  5. A beautiful video radiating love in the eyes smiles and hearts of every participant… if only life were only this ideal!

(loved the video so much, but on reflection optional captions might help others around the world enjoy it also!)

The following suggested link came on screen when the video finished. It especially highlights a beautiful relationship denied equality by DOMA. I am sure it will tug at a the hearts of those who view!

  6. Italy and Greece (the birthplace of official homosexuality !!!!) are the last 2 countries of the old EU, still with not even civil partnership for gays. Church influence over politicians (even centre-left) is the reason why .
( in Greece the gay civil partnership law is ready but the ministry delays sending it to parliament !!!) Help !!!

  7. Gay marriage? The STD dating site√ stdster.,.c0m, the gay subscribers increased continually.

    Most of them are sexy.
