“81% of 18-24 year olds agreed with equal marriage, compared with 51% of the 50-64 year age group”

Same everywhere really. It’s one of the few good things about aging; nobody likes growing older, but eventually nature takes care of old fasioned backwards views ^_^ (for the better).

-Not that there aren’t perfectly lovely 50+ people who back equality!

    1. Like myself .. Australian .. 70 years old and still would love to legally marry my partner of more than 20 years .. I hope it happens soon then !!

  2. It still amazes me that the country who holds the biggest gay party still does not recognise marriage equality. They are happy enough to take our money but not allows thier own citizens the right to marry.

Let’s hope the momentum for this continues to build and it passes into law before too long.

Good luck to our Australian brothers & sisters!

Keep pushing for it, Australia, you will win sooner rather than later. Never give up. We join you in solidarity.

  4. Gay Marriage is inevitable- all over the world.

  5. Be on the right side of history Australia. An opportunity to set a great example presents itself.

New Jersey, USA, just became the 8th state to pass marriage equality! The march is on!
