These KILLERS should have gotten much, much more time locked up. My heart hurts for what this dear woman had to lose, her life, and so young. Bless her spirit, and comfort to her family.
When you conside that Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison for fighting for equality for black people, 18 years for a homophobic hate crime is pretty lenient.

Justice at last, painfully slow but justice. 18 years may not seem a long time, but in a SA jail it will be an eternity.
The headline is misleading, it should read “Lesbian’s killers” not “Lesbian killers”. It makes quite a difference!
Also in South Africa, Rhino poachers get given 25 years in prison. Not really equal justice is it?
Well done za it’s took too long but the change needs to start somewhere. This send a message
