  1. tt’s time for Hungary to be expelled from the EU.

The ruling Fidesz Party is dismantling democracy by restricting freedom of the press, freedom of assembly and freedom of the courts.

And now this extremist bigot (who is the leader of another far right party) is adding to the fray.

Economic sanctions need to be applied to this backward joke of a country.

Hungary is a savage, bigotted, backwards dump.

    1. I might measure my language a little more than you dAVID …

Nonetheless, I agree that with the ruling party instituting horrificly homophobic law in relation to the constitution …

Followed by this homophobic rhetoric from an opposition party leader …

Given that the EU has already made clear public statements of concern about the homophobic laws and sought Hungary to explain itself …

Its time for some clear, obvious and demonstrative action (as well as words) to tackle the situation in Hungary …

  2. Standard issue babbling bloody christofascist moron. What will he do for an encore? Cry under his covers and worry about the boogeyman? Tell the future in entrails? Voodoo? Superstitious nonsense turns people in to fools.

  3. Look at the state of him. a face only a mother could love

    1. Father Ted 2 Feb 2012, 12:27am

He’s not bad if he cleans his teeth.

    2. Staircase2 2 Feb 2012, 7:56pm

That of course is (predictably) rubbish…
he’s a very good looking man – its not his looks that are the problem – just his rampant homophobia…

Doing the embittered drag queen routine on him don’t help the argument…

      1. Good loooking? Well you ain’t picky love

  4. one word after all the articles I’ve recently read regarding these issues that basically boil down to ‘gay is wrong’ that word is “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!”

  5. NudeDancer 1 Feb 2012, 3:54pm

Why do these people always say something to the effect of “I’m not homophobic but…” before demonstrating their bigotry.

Do they honestly think they can reduce the impact of their offensiveness by using these words? Or are they so deluded to actually believe that it’s not homophobic to say homophobic things?

    1. Actually, both are the case. Beware of any statement that begins “I’m not_______________________, but”. Also beware of statements that begin “Some of my best friends are_______________”. What follows is almost always pure hate.

  6. Liam Godden 1 Feb 2012, 3:54pm

Ah, the bigots favourite line: “I’m not Homophobic, BUT…..”.
    What a tosser. :)

  7. End of the world eh?

    Dear dear… if I haven’t heard that 1,000 times already… [rolls eyes]

  8. The gay EuroGames in the country’s capital this summer is the “end of the world”?

I’m pretty sure that statement needs to be followed by “Da-Dah!”

What he going to do when/if he’s proven wrong?

    1. Reschedule the end of the world to coincide with something else he doesn’t like of course. Like a Jewish holiday for instance….

  9. Well …

It begs the question why the *world* will end when the gay games are held in Budapest?

Why was it not the case in SanFrancisco, Vancouver, New York, Amsterdam, Sydney, Chicago or Cologne?

Clearly the world continued after all of these games …

Just as the world will continue after the Budapest Gay Games …

If something is likely to end the world – its more likely to be bigotry ….

    1. “its more likely to be bigotry ….”

      My money’s on undiagnosed schizophrenia.

  10. OK
    1. The world did not end after the last gay games
    2. The world did not end when certain countries allowed civil partnerships /marriages for gay couples
    3. The world has not ended becuase gay couples are allowed to adopt/foster or even have their own children by a surrogate
Bigots of the world are you seeing a trend here? The gay life is not causing the end of the world, religion is!

    1. No, religion is not causing the end of the world.

If you’ll look to a recent article, you’ll find that there are a lot of clergymen who are demanding the General Synod to allow them to decide for themselves whether they can hold civil partnerships in their churches or not, rather than having a blanket ban across the whole of the Church of England.

You’ll probably find that, if you look into it, the majority of religious homophobia is preached by the minority of Christians, namely those in the higher rankings of the Churches. While they provide the “official” standpoint for the Church’s ideals, they in no way represent Christianity as a whole. It is these people that are “going to end the world”, not religion as a whole.

  11. Oh well guys, once I’ve swung past Waitrose to pick up some groceries it’ll be time to get back to undermining of the family while simultaneously threatening human dignity and the very future of humanity itself.
    Another day, same old agenda.

    1. I hope you remembered to pack the GAY GYMSHORTS OF DOOM, otherwise this Gay Eurogames world destruction plan of yours is dead in the water.

  12. It’s the South Park underpant gnome causation fallacy isn’t it:
-A. Gay athletes compete in a gay track and field event…
    -B. …?
-C. …and because of that the world is destroyed.
Now if only Gabor could figure out what ‘B’ is…

  13. Us gays are really getting powerful. We cause earthquakes, floods, fires and now the end of the world.

But oddly enough we can’t get a marriage bill passed.

    1. michael nadin 1 Feb 2012, 5:48pm

      lol, brill mate x

    2. Andrew

      Well done!

You missed out the bits about causing tsunamis, making democratically elected leaders in dictators and climate change …

They’re all our fault too …

    3. Clearly we need to find some new lithium crystals to up the gay power supply.

  14. Keith Farrell 1 Feb 2012, 4:56pm

wow, I wonder where they find people as stupid as this guy. I think he needs some type of award, Asshole of the year comes close but not close enough and I dont know of another one that would decribe this guys biggoted stupidity

  15. David Skinner 1 Feb 2012, 4:58pm

Well as you know I have come clean: I was born a homophobe; it’s in the genes – I think from my mother’s Irish, paternal side, the McCabes, I believe. I have been for some counselling and therapy for this but was told I could do myself untold damage if I tried to change the way I was born.

However, to get back on track; I am not sure about the end of the World – yet. I believe that things have got to get a great deal worse before Jesus Christ returns – not as a defenceless baby I must hasten to add. One thing is clear; and that is that previous civilisations, Rome and Greece collapsed largely through the influence of homosexuality. Except that in those days, they did not give it a fancy pseudo, quack scientific, Greek nomenclature like ” HOMOSEXUALITY,” a bogus Darwinian invention if ever I saw- rather like Hitler’s Aryan superman. Islam and Turkey are just itching to take over Europe, which like an overripe fruit is ready for the plucking.

    1. Skinner I thought I told you not to come back here. If you are so sure about god shouldn’t he judge us and shouldn’t you be beating your wife and kids.

I reckon you need a large unsheathed memeber to suckle on

    2. “I was born a homophobe; it’s in the genes”

Nope. Just born stupid. Now THAT is in your genes…. what few you have, anyway.

How’s your wife? Still beating the living crap out of her for not “obeying” you?

      1. He needs a mercy fu ck. who’s up for it?

        1. Ugh! Skinner is an animal, I’m not into that kind of thing.

        2. @James!

          I have standards …

and I not lowering myself to those of Skinner …

      2. Oh my goodness, does he really beat his wife?

        1. He mentioned once that he “demands her to be obedient, as its gods law” – look at his posts, what do you think that means? The man is twisted in the extreme.

    3. michael nadin 1 Feb 2012, 5:46pm

you were born a twat !

    4. @Skinner

An irrational fear is something you can overcome with help …

An orientation is something you are born with …

Strange most people with a smidgin of humanity can understand that and you prefer to fuel your bigotry …

You can help it. You choose to hurt others by doing it. You are deliberate in your actions. You specifically target people by deliberately coming onto gay news sites repeatedly with rhetoric and ignorance of immense proportions seeking to harm and damage – bizarrely in the name of love, but with no twisted logic, because there is no logic that can justify the hate and heinous nature of your acts, If there is a God then I suspect the number of times you have hated will test even his forgiveness – but if God exists in the manner you present God (which I doubt) then you are doomed to eternal damnation for your bigotry and hatred.

      How many choic

    5. I would say you were born a bigot- among other things!

  16. He’s from a small fascist party party and not an example of an entire country, that would be like saying everyone in the UK is like the people in the BMP and all Americans are part of the Tea Party. Things need to put in perspective.

  17. ‘… it’s not some kind of homophobia but merely common decency…’

speaking of common decency, if you had any then you would simply admit that you are a ‘single brain cell’ right wing homophobe

    1. michael nadin 1 Feb 2012, 5:40pm

hasent anyone ever thought we could be the next stage in evolution,to stop the world becoming over populated ? now that could result in the end of the world

  18. david skinner 1 Feb 2012, 5:39pm

Wow! Steady, steady folks; let’s keep it civilised and could we concentrate on using good English and at least some pretence of reasoned debate, without descendinng into ad hominems, character assassination, libel, filth and threatening, abusive, insulting words that are causing my wife alarm and distress. She is my other half; we are after all one flesh and whatever you call me affects her mightily.

    1. “She is my other half; we are after all one flesh and whatever you call me affects her mightily.”

She married you, and you’re an animal. I have no time for people who are into bestiality, I find it disgusting.

    2. ‘…let’s keep it civilised and could we concentrate on using good English and at least some pretence of reasoned debate…’

it takes two to tango, you usually set the tempo we follow

    3. So you come here tell me I’m wrong and expect civility ? You sir are the biggest dumbfu ck on earth. I suggest you go to hell

    4. @Skinner

Well, to be fair you would recognise ad hominem comments – since they are usually your main modus operandi

Character assassination is also sometimes in your repertoire …

If you don’t want your wife affected by comments on a gay website – Can I suggest a solution could be …. don’t come on here …

    5. Yuo beat your wife so youre beating yourself. Bit a self hatred there you big old poof

  21. Robert in S. Kensington 1 Feb 2012, 5:57pm

So what will he do when the world doesn’t end? What can one expect from a very conservative catholic country, similar to Poland? The EU should make it mandatory for membership that all countries must guantee that LGBT people must be treated with respect and dignity amd comply with the rules of membership or face expulson, immediately. Watch him play the victim card once people start getting on his case.

  22. jamestoronto 1 Feb 2012, 6:50pm

Not another end of the world!! I am sure that I have lived through at least 500 of them in my lifetime. What with all the Mayan stuff this year the calendar is getting really cluttered. Does he offer up an exact date – for my calendar you understand.

  23. David Skinner 1 Feb 2012, 6:51pm

Here is a brain teaser: Who wrote:
“Homosexuality: it isn’t natural. Ignore those researchers who claim to have discovered a ‘gay gene’

    and

“Who we are attracted to largely derives from a combination of social experience and ideology. In other words, everyone is born with the potential to be queer. Exclusive heterosexuality is mainly the result of a socially-encouraged repression of same-sex desire. In a society where there were no pressures or privileges associated with being straight, a lot more people would be queer or bisexual. Lesbian and gay attraction would cease to be a minority sexual orientation and become something that almost everyone would experience…….. the available psychological and anthropological evidence suggests that these biological influences are not as significant as social factors……. the decisive factors influencing sexual orientation are social expectations and cultural values. ?

    Answer: Peter Tatchell

    1. Yawn …

My 6 year old nephew can put together a more logical and reasonable argument than you can, Skinner …

      1. Yawn indeed Stu. Still, once the bottom feeder is here typing feverishly (gaydar open in the other window to see if anything is happening in the local park at 4am, naturally), he can keep his paws from slapping his wife about. I feel sorry for a woman that needs to lie with animal to feel “married”.

    2. Archbishop of York 1 Feb 2012, 10:36pm

I don’t believe that he did, but if so, then his remarks are seriously delusional.

    3. And the point of all this is….?

    4. Well there is significant evidence to show that our sexuality is defined by our genes.

Would you say there is a society in the animal kingdom as complex and demanding as ours? We certainly can’t expect so, yet research into the sexuality of various animals has shown that the numbers of gay/lesbian animals aproximately matches those of humans. Surely if animals (which likely don’t have such pressures from their societies) have similar numbers of homosexuals to humans, then that would suggest that homosexuality is a completely natural orientation?

I’m not saying that we’re animals in that sense, but the similarities do suggest that this is coded into us from conception.

  24. Oh, the ‘end of the world’ scenario again.

Well, this world has existed long before LGBT people made our entrance, and it’ll continue long after we make our exit.

    Get a grip!

  25. Sister Goodlove 1 Feb 2012, 7:08pm

He looks like a poster boy for Gaydar. Bless.

    1. Oh rubbish I just voted you down by accident when I wholeheartedly agree. Sorry

  26. Glad he said that really. It demonstrates how bonkers some of these people are.

I think there are people who yearn for the comfort blanket of a totalitarian state, they find even relative freedom and democracy anxiety inducing. They yearn for a big strict nanny.

  27. “Gay EuroGames will mark the end of the world…”

    mmm….untestable proposition, or what..

    1. Are you claiming there is some inaccuracy in these comments?

They all seem perfectly legitimate and appropriate to you, Skinner …

Maybe it is the end of the world for some if they don’t mend their ways – have you noticed that it tends to be countries that DON”T allow gay marriage that get hit by the worst natural disasters? Obviously something going on there! ;)

The Queen did not abdicate and and ravens did not flee the Tower of London when homosexuality was decriminalized in 1967. And I doubt that a giant tidal wave is going to swamp Hungary when it hosts the Gay Games. As for the end of the world we have heard it before and I am sure that we will still be here on December the 22nd, the day after the Mayan Calender runs out. The best thing to do with attention-seeking clowns like Gábor Vona and his bunch of BNP clones, the Jobbik Party is to ignore them and deny them the oxygen of publicity. As for Hungary, do not write that country off just yet – there are scores of worse places in the world to be gay.

Can imagine a tsunami swamping Budapest. I have been there myself and I found out that Hungarians do not take seaside holidays very often – Hungary is one of the most landlocked countries in Europe!

Apparently we have super powers …

  34. Skinner:- “Allow me to hold the mirror up to Pink News contributors by submitting just some of the tolerant, non-discriminatory, equal rights, inclusive, coherent, intelligent, progressive, loving, comments, fit for a pink 21st century society directed towards me and my wife.”

    …Bloody idiot…

…As “God is my witness, it’s not some kind of homophobia but merely common decency that makes me say” is it just me or does he actually look as if he’s gay himself…?

  36. Those silly Christians have been saying the world will end for thousands of years and we are still here, what a joke. They have some kind of death wish mental problem and need to see a psychiatrist.

  37. Everybody knows the world is going to end on December 21st.

  38. Maybe he means his straight world is ending with all that manmeat around for the games. He’ll be on his knees in every dark corner during…

  39. Squeal like a pg 3 Feb 2012, 10:06pm

In the light of new equality laws. When will the ‘straight games’ be? We currently have the multi orientation games which has all sex now have the gay games, sexual orientations. It is known merely as the Olympic games. We also now have the gay games. Why no straight games? They would be by far the most popular as the majority are straight.

    1. Organise them … if you want them … see how many support you …
