I’m shallow, I admit it, I like the idea of Alex Kingston kissing women… Am I shallow enough to actually tune in and sit through hours of tedious BBC costume drama to see it? Doubtful (I don’t have a massive amount of trust in the BBC to tell LGBT stories).
There seem to be conflicting reports. On the one hand, there are people talking about “raunchy, steamy sex scenes”, and on the other people talking about “friendship”…
All I can say is that if there were any scenes that were sexy and steamy, I hope they kept the tapes. Certainly what was aired was very demure and delicate (though still enjoyable!).
I adore Alex!!! River Song!!! Why would you say ER, yes it was great in the states, but that was like 20 years ago, she’s known for River Song on Doctor Who! Come on Brits! lol
