  2. If you’re prepared to book yr own flights you can still get there, though cheapest to stay a week. Check out Icelandair.

Iceland is one of the last great untouched wildernesses in the world. With a population of just over 300,000, half of them in Reykjavik living on an island larger than Ireland, Iceland is unspoilt. Expensive and just south of the Artic Circle, it is off most peoples’ tourist trails. Iceland mixes traditional values with progressive attitudes. Most Icelanders still believe in elves and many are regular church-goers but at the same time they are one of the most liberal and progressive societies on Earth having elected openly lesbian Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir as their prime minister.

Hope everyone stops by Cafe Babalu while you are here! I’m Glenn, and my husband and I own the place! Looking forward to having a gay ol’ time!
