  1. Jeanette Winterson-a beacon of light and hope in a small, uptight northern town. Not the easiest of places to have come out in.

She also brings hope to all of us who are going through the same thing.

      WAY TO GO GIRL!!!!!

  2. Jeanette Winterson is an amazing writer – ‘Oranges’ came at a very opportune time for me, but my favourite book is ‘Written on the Body’ which is poetic genius’ :o)

  3. I heard extracts from the new book on Radio 4 and it was marvellous. Must read it.
Winterson is a great English prose writer of our times.
