Totally agree with you Jock, a great guy for recognising the work THT do to support people living with HIV – nice one!

Gay racism. I wasn’t prepared for it and at my most vulnerable. I want to ensure that no one has to go hrough what I did

Okay, so petty name calling helps you get over your own bitterness. Well that’s just lovely for you then isn’t it. As long as you’re all sorted, screw everyone else.

I don’t think making derogatory comments about someone who was voted a winner – and then pledged part of his winnings to an HIV charity – really helps though, does it?

    2. People like you and Dianne Abbott who see racism everywhere should really be taught about the boy who cried wolf

An nd people like you pretend there is no racism are cowards. At least have the guts to be true to your beliefs.

        Post a reply →
        1. I never said there was no such thing as racism.

Did you actually read what I wrote?

Perhaps you are genuinely unfamiliar with the tale of the boy who cried wolf.

If you don’t care why make your comment in the first place? I guess you just wanted the reaction you have got!

And on a slightly personal note, he is well fit lol.

  5. He seems like a perfect choice for the winner. Someone that will be a role model rather than just do ghat chat ads.

    1. That was meant to be gay chat. I have no idea what ghat is.

What a lovely gesture from this nice young man.

One quibble about the article, though. Couldn’t he have been ‘crowned’ rather than the risible ‘coronated’ which in these modern times has become a biological term meaning ‘crown-shaped’? It used to mean ‘having or wearing a crown’ but it hasn’t been used that way for nigh on seventy years – ever since the biologists appropriated it, perhaps.

For goodness’ sake – no one gets “coronated.”
One is “crowned”. It is a shorter and neater, more English word.

On a very serious note it is great that this young man has shown the importance of supporting HIV charitites like THT.

In the age of Government austerity and the report out today that says that Commissioning of the Pan London HIV Prevention Programme is in total crisis, all HIV charitites will have to rely more & more on personal individual donations to carry on with the work of HIV prevention interventions and supporting those people living with the virus.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-16533448

Link to the BBC article that provides links to the commissioning reports – the current process is unweildy & does not offer value for money.

Well done on highlighting this report W6. I’m totally with you on this one!

It is truly scandalous how HIV prevention funding has been badly managed and directed, and the sheer lack of funding available in general in targeting the gay community.

Why on earth is PN not covering this major issue of great interest while publishing some frankly downright frivolous and total non-stories of late?

      Post a reply →
  12. God Bless him, he is not only hot but a good guy for helping others with HIV. Now there is a good man setting a good example for others. Hopefully people will get back to the business of helping and not hating and harming others and make the world a better place to live for all.
