Good on ya George!! Romney is an idiot.

Trouble is America has a history of electing idiots so…

Good to see George Clooney coming out and condemning the flaccidness of Romney who flips whichever way he thinks he can get votes.

  3. Clooney is spot on.

When people look back on history to these moments the people who held back lgbt rights will be looked on with scorn and ridicule.

  4. Excellent George! Romney is an idiot who needs to get his sorry butt into the 21st century!!

If only there were more high-profile, rational actors/celebs in the US, like Mr Clooney, willing to speak out for gay rights without fear that doing so would jeopardise their career.

No doubt it will be little reported in the wider media but thanks for supporting the cause, George.

If Romney ever becomes president, proof positive the American electorate is getting dumber and dumber. America is the only western country where a candidate must declare adherence to a religious belief system in order to get elected. An Atheist or buddhist for example wouldn’t stand a chance. Odd for a country that claims to have separation of church and state. In politics, NOT. Beyond hypocritical.

    1. you are so right Robert…there now IS not separation of church and state and it is an anathema to me and most rational folk…
that Jack Kennedy had to reassure the country that he would not rule by the Pope was absurd then..and continues on..

  7. Not only is he good looking and talented but smart, why don’t the American’s have people like George for president? God bless George for standing up to religious oppression in America and telling the truth. Gays need to fight just like the African Americans did to get their Civil Rights and freedom in America. The gays need a Martin Luther King to stand up for Equality and Civil Rights for all LGBT people in America. Somebody who will not stop until they get what they want and who is willing to die to get their Civil Rights and freedoms in America for all LGBT people.

Maybe George Clooney should consider going into politics. Other stars of the big screen, Ronald Reagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Clint Eastwood have all done that.
I believe that George Clooney ‘voiced’ Eric Cartman’s gay dog, Sparky in an episode of South Park!
