    No loss then

  2. Whilst Bachmann dropping out is good news, one less Christian Right nutjob in the race makes it more likely that one of their fellow nutjob runners will secure enough votes for the nomination. I’d like to trust that US voters will pick the more moderate Obama option should Santorum become the Republican candidate, but looking at some of the presidents they’ve elected in the recent past it’s not something I’d put money on.

    Scary times ahead.

    1. Scary, indeed! I’m American and I cannot believe what is going on with the Republicans. I think Obama is terrific and hope he gets another term, but with more Democrats in the Congress so they can get some good things done. I wouldn’t mind Romney, but the Christian right will do everything they can to block a Mormon. Well? Maybe not. A black man versus a Mormon – hmmm… Oh! What to do…

If Romney were to be elected he would be beholding to the tea partiers and the fundamentalist fascist right and would go along with them on all anti-gay measures as well as taking away the right to abortions under any cirumstances. There is really no choice regardless of whom the Republicans pick. Obama must be re-elected with a majority in both Houses if any shred of American democracy is to be perserved.

  3. Couldn’t happen to a nicer Dominionist, christofascist batcr@p crazy wingnut…. I was always amused that she was so blinkered that she didn’t know that trying to appeal to the hardcore evangelical conservative element was never going to work because they aren’t exactly the most gender blind demographic. The very people she wanted to support her were simply never going to and by pandering to the sexist, racist and generally bigoted, she got exactly what she deserved. Twit.

  4. another superstitious, bigot bites the dust –

  5. Oh, how I will miss that crazed look and those insanely bonkers comments… *sniff*

  6. And she’ll have more time to spend with her wife now.

  7. South Carolina will be “the third country to hold caucuses”? Really??

    1. I did notice that, and wondered whether state might perhaps have been better terminology lol

    2. David Myers 6 Jan 2012, 9:01am

Besides wrongly saying “country” she also says “caucuses”. South Carolina has a Republican primary not caucuses.

Wow…Female Bigots like her should learn how to respect their kitchen untensils than utter rubish statements. . Good to see her disgraced… 5% ?

  9. Disagree with her bigotry but please don’t resort to misogyny.

She is a complete nut job, but it has nothing to do with her sex.

    1. But her scoring so low amongst fundamentalists probably has…

    2. Paddyswurds 5 Jan 2012, 5:34pm

….it has everything to do with her sexuality. No woman is going to get the nomination to the Presidential race as a Republican, much less a deluded wingnut like Baachman. However I wouldn’t want her in the kitchen either, because if her domestic abilities are as bad as her political nous, would you eat anything she’d cook? Vile ugly harridan. Ironic that she is a “beard”….lol

      1. No need to be such a mysoginist, Paddysturds

Good riddance, another homophobe that does not believe in a human right. Let us all just hope that the Democrats win the next election in USA, otherwise gay marriage will be annulled.

  11. Its obvious god hates her.

  12. Now we’ll never get the chance to see how Marcus would have redecorated the White House.

    1. lol…

  13. One down, the rest to go. Please click here to ensure Santorum stays in the public conciousness ;-)

    1. Paddyswurds 5 Jan 2012, 5:37pm

      better still…

  14. Thank God one Christian political Terrorist is down and another 6 Christian Terrorist to go, for starters that is.

  15. Good to see the back of Bachmann (although she will no doubt continue to make a lot of noise …)

Santorum is also very scary (and not the only other one) …

    1. @Stu… Santorum is even scarier if you take away his glasses imagine him with gray hair! Seriously he looks like a George Bush junior clone. One can only hope that as other candidates fall off that he does not rise in popularity.

Both Romney and Santorum taking any kind of lead would seriously pose a very volatile future for LGBT people. I am behind Obama and Hilary Clinton returning for another term.

  16. I am a 29 years old lady, mature and beautiful. and now i am seeking a good man who can give me real love, so i got a username josedvilla on — Agelover. СòM —, a nice and free place for younger women and older men,or older women and younger men, to interact with each other.Maybe you wanna check out or tell your friends.

    1. Paddyswurds 5 Jan 2012, 5:39pm

….surely Michelle Bachman is older than 29.

      1. Remarkably similar dating technique to Bachman though… going onto a gay news forum in the desperate hope of bagging a straight husband.

        1. @Flapjack… Perhaps she figures if she can at least turn one gay dude… it hasn’t all been a lost cause! :)

  17. Paddyswurds 5 Jan 2012, 5:24pm

Just so’s y’all know…. the United States is just that; States. South Carolina is one of those states and no such country as South Carolina exists no matter what Pink News writers think..

  18. Well, at least something good happened during the elections.

  19. Well done, Ms Bachman, good move. Now all you have to do is move to Hungary where you would be an overnight success Oh and don’t forget to take your husband with you.

  20. If I got 5% in my home state I’d be mortified! Hahahaha xD

  21. David Nottingham 6 Jan 2012, 12:43pm

No surprises there, then. When Bachmann answered the 16 yr old that gay people have equality because like everyone else they have the right to marry a person of the opposite sex, I nearly fell off my chair! Is it actually possible that a woman who is so stupid and monumentally unintelligent should even have made it to the Iowan Republican caucuses?!
