      Sadly, it is ALL the states regardless if there are protections in place, or not, or laws against discrimination, etc …one must PROVE that one has been fired for being gay…not an easy thing to do. At this time ageism is rampant in the US especially when looking for a job…many people over 50 cannot get a job, benefits have run out, there is no help, all we can do is just die….no one can PROVE that either; so much for ‘protections’..they seem to be useless for the vast majority…sadly.
