  1. According to my russian friend, apparently st.petersburg is thought in russia(only) as a centre of learning, art, bohemia and tolerance. The rest of the country must be full of primitive troglodytes.

    It’s a city of culture. It should know better. The Arts world will boycott it.

    1. “city of culture” maybe in backward russia , lol, A culture of homophobia and ignorance is what its really known for.

  3. The draft law in St Petersburg not only threatens to silence its gay community, it also equates homosexuality to pedophilia.

    I’m proud to say that I signed the petition.

    St.Petersburgh should be moving forward, not returning to the past. If they carry on like this then they might as well go back to being called Leningrad.

    I say let the civilised world start referring to St Petersburg as Leningrad again. That’ll really annoy them.
