Good story, but Georgina Beyer was a trans Labour MP in New Zealand first elected in 1999 and is generally regarded as being the first trans MP elected
Poland once had a strong liberal, western-oriented political culture that was repressed by the Communist-Catholic alliance there for decades. Hopefully we are witnessing the beginning of the road back to that liberal democracy.
Well done her!
But she is far from the first.
In the 1950s, in the UK an eagle eye’d reporter noticed that a peer had quietly disappeared from the official lists and re-appeared with a first name in her new gender. The cat was out of the bag, and her transition was in the national press.
Thankfully that should not happen today.
I forget the details, can anyone of my age remember?
3 cheers for Anna :) Poland have made a great step forward for the trans community. Let’s hope other countries (uk *cough*) follow this fantastic example xXx

While you on the other hand rely on your blatant stupidity to get the same desired effect. Nice.
Don’t want to talk about your derrière again today, eh? Probably got too much in the park while your wife slept, did you?
Bravo Poland. ^^
In some photos IT looks like Ronnie Barker
In some comments “you” sound human….
Looks like Les Dawson
Not big on relevancy, are you?
Georgine Meyer was the world’s first trans MP in New Zealand
Minor correction – her name is Georgina Beyer
