More black American, black Caribbean and African gays and lesbians need to come out and share their voice, rhythm, beauty and unique perspective with the world.

It will help our own black communities begin to see we are proud, exemplars and make it that much harder to dehumanize us to support religious and machismo homophobia.

It will also help the wider gay community to see more of the rainbow that exists.

So glad I am not the only one who waiting a rather long time before coming out! And I couldn’t agree more with her reasons! For me it was the right time and place!

She seems only to have funny bones in her body! Here’s YouTube of Wanda on the Ellen show several weeks after her cancer surgery – LGBT community is fortunate to have heroes/role models like Wanda.
