It’s great to see the repeal of DADT already having a carry-on effect, opening the door for LGBT people in the armed forces to address more specific areas of inequality <3
America is one of the most indebted countries in the world. How can you call it free.
Every soldier is a potential killer and mercenary of corporate elite. Gay or straight.
This should be a no-brainer really. It should even have to go to court. But if it one more spike in DOMS’s coffin it will be worth it to hear that in one other way the law is unconstitutional.
It is good to see these gay and lesbian troops fighting for their rights. The US Government needs to listen to the legitimate concerns of these troops.
Equality still eludes gay service members. Thanks to DOMA legally married same-sex military spouses are denied health insurance, commissary, housing allowance and other base privileges as compared to their opposite-sex married counterparts. For those interested – http://OUTmilitary.com has been providing a supportive environment for friending, sharing and networking between Gay active military, vets and supporters since December, 2010.
This is just another example of how DOMA is an illegal piece of legislation born out a union of bigoted Christian radicals and hate mongering Republicans to destroy gay people or anyone who is slightly different. It is not really the federal government which is hateful, but the Republicans and conservatives, who are funded by right wing Christian hate groups.
It is high time that this horrible and outdated 1996 Clinton era DOMA law is repealed.
Same sex couples are actually missing out on 1,176 benefits, entitlements, obligations and rights because of the DOMA law that is in place by the US federal government.
Rights, benefits, entitlements, obligations, etc are currently avaliable to opposite sex couples that take it for granted.

You are an idiot
More ammunition for the case that DOMA is unconstitutional

That is “should NOT even have to go to court” and it should be DOMA Sorry

I wish them every success! If it puts another nail in the coffin of DOMA, then even better!
One aolution is blackmaile effectivly. Every lgbt soldier just refuse to soldier until they are treated equally.
The US military are always doing recruitment drives, lets see how their military looks when all lgbt people basically say umm no.

14 rights out of 1,176 – what a dam insult!
