  2. Good on ya fella! Unless we challenge “low level” sterotyping like this, it’s no use tackling the the “full-on” homophobes. Like I say – good on ya fella!!

  3. In Taylor’s favour, he answered the (very stupid) question pretty well.

    1. What did he say?

“…would you have asked this same question if it were Diablo Cody and Kathryn Bigelow at dinner with Mr Lautner?”

They probably would, you know. I’m not sure he’s not being a tad oversensitive here.

    1. But they don’t usually assume an older female in charge is going to pounce on a young actor, do they? And if they did make any such suggestion I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Kathryn Bigelow were to find it quite offensive.

You never heard of cougars then? There’s a whole sitcom built around the idea for pity’s sake. Not to mention Kim Cattrall in Sex and the City…

If Bigelow were that sensitive then I would tell her to grow up.

        1. A sitcom, eh? But what makes you think people find it flattering to be compared to a comedy character? Still, if you’re really like Jack in Will and Grace

Does anyone else inadvertently read his name as “Dustin his lance black”? I feel compelled to.

Bravo for thinking so fast on your feet. And THAT’S why you write. Keep speaking out, fella.

Mr. Black has every reason to be insulted. Imagine if it had been a white starlet who had dinner with two black professional filmmakers and that question was asked.

Lautner did answer well, but I wish he had asked, “Is it too much to think they invited me to talk about my ACTING?”
