Don’t be too hard on Keith, he’s really pissed off all his 500-plus comments were deleted. Poor Keith, his god didn’t come to rescue his sad little comments. If only he was a funny as he is futile….
Article 125 is dead – the military has said they can’t and won’t enforce it. Gay sex may still be punishable, but only under the same circumstances as straight sex – between a superior and a subordinate, for example. When a marine got in trouble recently for doing gay porn he was charged with misconduct and for wearing his uniform in some of the videos, but not sodomy. That kind of says it all right there.

This promises to be a great summit! For those interested –
Http://OUTmilitary.com has been providing a supportive environment for friending, sharing and networking between Gay active military, vets and supporters since December, 2010.
Great news, OutMilitary. and I am very well impressed with the quantity and the quality of Military personnel who have come out on OutMilitary.com since December, and again since the repeal of DADT a few weeks ago.
Can we expect to read about the summit soon?
Also, Thank you for your service, everyone one of you…. heartfelt gratitude and tight hugs.
I feel nothing but contempt for any person (gay or straight) who joins the US or British Army.
These armies are forces of immense destruction and colonialism.
The US or UK is at no risk of invasion. Yet we send our troops to safeguard our theft of other countries’ natuiral resources with barely a cursory regard for the lives or human rights of the people of the invaded nations.
I hope LGBT people continue to shun the US Army – it is a force for enormous evil in this world.
Yes. Because everything is that black and white David.
Certainly there are very questionable things that US and UK forces are asked to do and also carry out during those missions, but to say you feel contempt for ‘any person’ who joins is ridiculous.
There are a lot of good people in the forces and allowing gay and lesbian people to be out, open and honest will only improve them.
Let’s hope you never need anyone from the armed forces to look out for you. I mean say your town flooded, it would be awful, you having to refuse to be winched out of your home away from the rising waters just because you felt contempt…
