  1. What do they expect though.

Edwin Poots is a fundamentalist, extremist christian, and is part of an extremist political party. And he’s part of a fundamentalist, extremist christian party.

I suspect that this LGBT groups are simply trying to raise awareness that the christian taliban are in power in Northern Ireland.

Edwin Poots by rights should be in an institution to treat his mental illness (his extrremist christianity), but instead he is the minister for health.

Edwin Poots. Is his name for real? It sounds like a verb.

    Definitions for “to poot” ?

    1. Dr J. Ratburger 29 Sep 2011, 4:47pm

It is a real verb. See wiktionary:

      poot (plural poots)
(babytalk, slang) A fart, perhaps a relatively quiet one.

Sometimes fact is stranger than fiction.

        1. Poot is also a drug dealer in an American drama series …. The Wire, perhaps?

Not sure Mr Poot from the USA would approve of the one in N Ireland …

  3. I too would ignore people who pestered me, when they have been told.

    1. “I too would ignore people who pestered me, when they have been told.”

Yeah, but you’re still here, aren’t you?

      Religions freak that you are.

    2. Even if you were elected to represent them, and there was evidence the information you claimed you were making your decisions on was wrong …

If you would ignore in these circumstances, you are even more idiotic than I thought …

      Says the attention seeking craver.

  4. Meanwhile, Sinn Fein MEP, Bairbre de Brun has also written to Mr Poots urging him to end the lifelong ban.

She said: “Whilst public health is the absolute priority and the quality of blood donations must be ensured, there must be a clear distinction made between sexual orientation and sexual behaviour.

“Gay or bisexual men who practice safe sex with condoms, have had only one partner their whole life or have tested HIV negative, remain unjustly banned from donating blood.

“Sexually active heterosexuals who may indulge in riskier sexual activities have no such restrictions.”

    1. Great to see a balanced and reasonable response from Sinn Fein to this issue

Bigots like this have no will to do whats best just carry on with their discriminating intolerance. No doubt blaming all else mind but themselves.

  6. Theb Democractic Unionist Party – making Northern Ireland look like a backward dump which must be avoiided by tourists and businesses alike.

How old is Mr Poots. He looks too old to have an affair with his party leader’s wife Iris.

    She likes teenagers.

  7. You don’t even have to hit the man’s website to know which party he represents.

The DUP are a bunch of corrupt hypocrites who need to be assigned to the electoral dustbin. Come on Northern Ireland, wake up to these people please!
