Let’s hope the sentence is at least as long as the one given back in September last year.

The courts need to make an example of him and not a lenient sentence which would give the impression that we are worth far less than other members od our society

Let’s hope the court takes violence against a trans person as seriously as against any other minority

I hope this man is tried and convicted to the full extent of the law, and with the maximum sentence for this hurtful and disgusting crime.

I wish the friends and family of Destiny the best, and Destiny will be sorely missed. We love you Destiny x

      You are correct Melanie.
You see, THIS is why I get angry everytime I hear some little twat opine that there’s no need to have politics in Pride.
Step outside the cozy little world of Compton St, and the walls of the bar you’re in, then it’s not so easy to be who your are. It can be a bloody hard life not being heterosexual.
We do need to fight and we do need to support each other, instead of sneering and whining at those who are trying to streer for political changes.
If we turn our backs, there are lots of people who’ll haul our rights away just because they don’t understand…or want to.

He deserves to be executed for such a horrible crime… It’s a crime this creep will one day walk free.
