  1. No LGBT person should EVER be sent back to the monstrous, hate-filled dump that is Uganda.

Also we need to start demanding that all British aid money to these grotesque places like Uganda; Cameroon; Malawi; Senegal, Zimbabwe cease immediately.

African countries who can afford to persecute gay people, clearly have no need for British taxpayers’ money.

Certainly a good candidate for help.

  3. it’s unbelievable that the home office deny there is any persecution of gay guys and girls in uganda. The case proves the home office think the leves of homophobic violence in uganda are acceptable. And therefore the home office is homophobic.

  4. “Amazingly and bizarrely the Home Office still say there is no persecution of gay men in Uganda, both now and when Mr Segwanyi was in Uganda when their own country report flatly contradicts this.”

The Home Office clearly needs to be informed. This is a travesty. Preposterous.

  5. The Home Secretary should resign, this is appalling.

    1. Someone should start a petition for that.

    2. The Home Secretary – you mean that vile bigot Teresa May – a woman so homophobic that the equality brief had to be removed from her and given to Lynne Featherstone, because of Theresa May’s poisonous homophobia?

      1. All the more reason for her to resign.

        1. Either she does not know what the border people are up to, or she approves of it, either way she is not the right person for the job and should move over for Featherstone. The Lib Dems really need to get more aggressive in this coalition, or bring it down and let us have another election before the whole infrastructure of the country is destroyed.

          1. Unfortunately, there is no hope for he LIb Dems to do anything ever again. If we want support, we need to move our votes and support to another party. The current leading parties will only ever offer us a carrot-on-a-string hope just to get our votes while progressing our cause as slow as possible.

  6. I wonder why they choose the UK over over countries that are much closer to their roots?

    Ben

    1. What? She was invited to give a talk, as she has been in many countries, and has always honoured her visas. UK refuses her, it can only be racism or homophobia, or both.

      1. oops sorry, wrong story. Maybe they choose Britain because for some strange reason they think we are a beacon of tolerance, or because we colonised and exploited them, so they feel a connection?

That retired Ugandan Bishop is a saint, when the rest of the Anglican Church there was supporting or remaining silent on the death penalty for gays, he took the risk of actively helping gay people, leading to him being deprived of his pension. He knows all to well the dangers gay people and their supporters face there.

Yes, but we should not forget the major role played by religionists including US Evangelicals and the Anglican Church of Uganda in supporting the horrifiic anti-homosexual bill which I believe is still pending.

  8. The American College Harvard and other rich people are using a hedge fund to buy up large parts of Africa, They have bought up land the size of France already.

  9. I AM AN AMERICAN AND THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MEXICANS STEALING THEIR WAY TO THE U.S. THE PROBLEM THAT I HAVE WITH THIS IS THAT IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO STAY AND FIGHT TO IMPROVE YOUR OWN COUNTRY WHY SHOULD YOU BE ALLOWED TO JUST ENTER ANOTHER COUNTRY? YOU NEED TO TAKE PRIDE AND FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU WANT WITHIN REASONABLE MEANS OF COURSE. NOT EVERYONE WHO FIGHTS WILL REAP THE REWARDS OR LIVE TO SEE IT HAPPEN FOR THAT MATTER AND THAT IS THE NATURE OF THE BEAST. THAT IS WHAT STOP PEOPLE FROM DOING WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE DUE TO WEAKNESS IN STRENGTH, COWARDLINESS, AND NOT WILLING TO GO THE DISTANCE LIKE PEOPLE BEFORE THEM WHO FOUGHT AND DIED BUT KNEW THERE CHILDREN WOULD BENEFIT FROM IT AND THERE IN LIES THE PROBLEM HOMOSEXUALS ARE NOT PROCREATING HOW CAN THEY WHEN IT IS SAME SEX SO THEY HAVE NO ONE TO FIGHT SAVE THEMSELVES WHICH LEAVES THEM WEAK BECAUSE THEY KNOW DEEP DOWN THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT…
