Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann has been challenged again on her controversial anti-gay views – but still refuses to discuss them.

Appearing on NBC’s Meet The Press, she would only tell host David Gregory “I don’t judge them” when asked to make her views clear.

Mr Gregory pointed out that her past comments – which include calling homosexuality “bondage” and “personal enslavement” – sounded like judging.

But Ms Bachmann said the issue was not relevant to her presidential campaign.

She also refused to tell Mr Gregory whether she would appoint an openly gay judge, saying: “I have my criteria.”
