What a Great Day in Liverpool, although we got there early to look at the new museum at the Pier Head in Liverpool, there was no bus link back into the Queen’s Square, there were young children and disabled people waiting at the bus stop, three buses at the bus stops, would not open bus doors so that people could get on the buses, and just drove off. Speaking to MerseyTravel this Monday morning, they said although they have bus stops opposite the new museum, they do not allow travel to and from the Pier Head and Queen’s Square. How Ridiculous for a City of Culture!!

  3. It’s nice to see all the hard work by the Pride organizers paid off in increased attendance. I commend enthusiastically the invitation to the family of Michael Causer to lead the parade both as a tribute to their son his life and in his memory. Celebrity leading the parade is a good draw but this gesture had purpose and thought proving the memory of their son lives on!

  4. I went it was a good day. Shame I missed the march though it was a bit early for me to get down to it.

  5. Although it was a great day, there was no atmopsphere at the Pier head….one stage…..very poor acts…..the gay area was far better….lots of fun….lots of men which is unusual for the gay area of Liverpool….good luck for the future….but bring the whole thing back to the gay area…..

  6. There was a lot of talk amongst my friends in Liverpool of mayhem behind the scenes with the organisers…..mostly to do with the organisation and the chaotic handling of the event which resulted in a spilt location. If this is true it is a shame because last years Pride was such a great day out and this year was only ok and lacking in the fantastic atmosphere of last year. Lets hope the organisers pull themselves together for next years event because it seems to me they have potentially a fantastic annual event they could be really proud of. Having said all that we still enjoyed ourselves and appreciate the work the behind the scene guys did to pull it all together and make it a special day for everyone who thanks for that guys.
