In the UK, things are not that bad – though if the female victim is trans, with the right lawyer the perp can get a jury to agree that the victim strangled themselves, then covered their own body with a throw-rug just before expiring, as happened in the Kellie Telesford case.
Wow she had a narrow escape, this is a worry as I am going to New York for the new year, and although I go every year, I do not always stay in Ny but this year I will be, in Brooklyn where I stay, I will buy a pepper spray, not much use against a gun I know but at least I hope I blind the mother F****r be for I snuff it
