  1. Wow. I am truly amazed by the bravery and courage of some people in our community. It takes so much deep internal work on one’s beliefs and spirit to find the place within where you go against and challenge the demands on us to conform to a family’s ideal. These women are heroes!

    You go girls!

Since the High Court decriminalised gay sex India is demonstrating that it has the potential to be the great hope of the future for democracy and human rights.

    1. You, being a Muslim Pakistani, wouldn’t be fairer to Hindus than you are to gays, so who cares what you troll about.

Well he was Nigerian the other day lol (he does get about a bit – for a man who sits on his arse all day typing drivel….lol)

It’s such a shame that things have to come to this but glad the women can get the protection they need.
    -
Though, just because of petty minded people that should be close and supportive they will never be able to live free and full.
    -
I do wish then the best though and hope they can have a good safer life together.

  8. In the west we often forget that so many people in the world fight on, virtually alone.

It astonishes me that a family would want to kill their own children… and they have the gall to call US unnatural when it is they who behave worst than animals!

Shame to them, well done Veena and Savita! Bole’ Ki Jay!

Its easy to forget that this is what the Gay Liberation struggle is all about.

Making sure everyone has the right to choose who they wish to be and how they wish to live their life.

Gradually the World is coming to terms with this notion – in part hampered by its colonial and subservient past: the notion that some people are more important than others.

It is inevitable that this will fade.

I look forward to a day when the whole of humanity can stand up and count each and every one of us as equal.
